  • that stuff at 1:51 is amazing

  • the Human is the sole species rejecting the Best ones from the Evolutive Selection and allowing in the "quite good" makeing them appear as the Perfect Ones! (in this case Beaver,Ttony Smith are the best ones...victor wooten (no critique towards him) les claypool the "quite good")

  • Leave it to Beaver

  • i can do that. I just don't wanna.... :)

  • 1:03

  • it's Sylvester Stallone from Cobra!

  • @nsalaza Your the disease, I'm the cure.

  • yes! open fire at will...@DTM1864

  • beaver felton is a nice guy too!

  • Shiet, I've been playing bass for a long while now, but i never knew you could put a whammy bar on it..Haha.

  • @ybz2207 Les Claypool also uses one.

  • @ryta1203 Who cares? Claypool sucks.

  • @ybz2207 What a lovely ignorant comment, thanks for sharing your thoughts.

  • @ryta1203 Ignorant? I know of his music. I gave it a chance. He sucks. I've seen better. The only song I like where he plays bass is on N.I.B.

  • @ybz2207 you suck.

  • @DumbedDownSociety Lol. You mad? All I hear is claypool. claypool..I bet he doesn't even make the top 10 bassists.

  • @ybz2207 you still suck. i hate you and i dont even know you. top ten bassists? what a lovely ignorant comment. theres no need to be a youtube nazi.

  • @ryta1203 Aww, you're mad because claypool doesn't make MY list? Ahh-phooey.

  • @ybz2207 No, I was choosing to simply ignore you, I try not to get sucked into conversations with morons.

  • @ryta1203 Shut that shiet up, pussy.

  • WITHOUT HIM NO VICTOR WOOTEN TODAY, HE IS THE GRAND FATHER OF ALL THE MODERN SLAPPY BASSIST

  • @jalecalo it's a lie the father of slap still remains larry graham,he inveted it period.

  • i love his base playing its awesom

  • i love his base playing its awesom

  • i love his base playing its awesom

  • Mr. Felton will never acknowledge that he is the best BASS PLAYER in the world, and this is unfortunate.

I have been playing Bass since the 80's...I I respect the elders and the newbies...but Beaver is like a protogy child of Bass, and waxes all of the before and after.

Basically, Beaver is a God of Bass.

There is no one out there better than him. Read me: NO ONE!!!

The problem with Beaver is that he loves what he does more than fame.

If this young man ever decided to go "fame"? Look out!

  • You hardly ever see a whammy bar on a bass. That was way cool!

  • Back in the day I bought his videos straight from the carvin bass catalog, bad quality control I guess cause i would get the wrong video or the wrong instruction booklet everytime. Of course even in the 90's these were terribly outdated but the techniques that they taught are still useful. Beaver needs to update them for 2010.

  • :36 kinda sounds like a part from "Do you feel like we do?" by Peter Frampton. Listen carefully.

  • I have to look at this video everyday now. :-X

  • I fuckin' love the way Beaver plays. Is this an actual song or is just like a freestyle solo?? It's freakin' bad ass! You're bad ass Beaver!

If people hate on this they have not idea of true talent. You're the real deal bro. Mullet and all..Lol. ;-)

  • This dude is bad ass. How come i've never heard of him? Was he in a band?

  • most of the most talented musicians are unheard of.

  • Yeah, I must agree and why is that?

  • @ybz2207 cause they refuse to give up artistic license to labels and producers.

  • Reminds me of Dune Tune - Level 42.

  • Yep...definitely deep into the Mark King influence with some Stu Hamm thrown in for good measure!

  • great!!!

  • can this guy still get work??

  • He owns bass central now. Great store if you want high end bass equipment.

  • Is that a tremelo on his bass

    LOL

  • i have superchops 4 bass on vhs

    great fun

  • Beaver Felton IS the best bass player I have ever seen. I was most fortunate to be a friend of his and a student of his during the 80's in Savannah, GA. He was remarkable on stage during the Shut Up gigs in the local bars. People would come form all over to just see him play. He's always been a Star.

He and his mother were the kindest people. His mother is a wonderful person and she raised a son to be the same. If you ever meet Beaver, you will know what I mean. He is a great guy.

    =

  • love it

  • the guy can play

  • I bet this guy can play for hrs.

    I'm sure he has already.

Dude is really talented. Love the way he plays. Uses techniques I haven't never seen in my life.

  • yea he is paralyzed he works at bass central and i take lessons from dave larue there

  • My grandma is friend with that guy... O.o

He's paralyzed from the waist down now.

I can't tell if he is there; he's sitting.

I think he was in a car wreck if memory serves.

  • yeah, my sister (zuchinnihead) and i have a grandma that talks to him on the phone all the time.

  • "Arguably The Best Bass Guitarist Today!"

  • I almost crapped myself... this guy is a monster bassist. I understand he's been working on a bass-only store?

  • the store is called bass central..you should check out the website..

  • He is the owner
