small band, kind of hard to give it the power this piece needs to be pulled off effectively. Two weeks to practice is far to short a time to fine tune all MANY special instrumentations this piece has. Overall I have to give a 3

good performance, personally, i find the singing not that powerful and the whole piece didnt have that power....transitions were good and percussion could be louder, much louder..

I have to disagree. Drums are a big part of this piece, BUT since it's a group sound, you don't want anyone sticking out and you definitely don't want them overpowering the band TOO much.

well we do not have the strength in that section this year and we had about two weeks for this of good rehearsal

The accidentals could have been played a lot better. Euphoniums dissapointed me. They should have played louder.
