No one could lean on other drivers like DE. Some of them got mad but they got over it soon because it was DE. You saw the way he tried to sooth Rusty sort of like "get over it, dude".
The hell is Rusty talking about he ain't forgetting Talladega, is he talkin about 1993, it's 95 WTF, get over it buddy. It's Bristol Night racing if you can't handle it then put on a skirt & get your ass in the kitchen where you belong bitch. You see the top left front corner of Dale Sr's firesuit, that says Winston Cup Champion, I own you, I own this track, I own this series that means when you see me get the fuck otta the way. Take some notes Jimmie Johnson...
Funny that people today never say Dale Sr was a dirty driver and not afraid to do cheap shots.... He WAS the dirtiest racer out there! Dale never was most popular driver, and only was after he died. People hated him as much as they hate kyle busch or tony stewart today.
Rusty says that crap about Talladega, but he doesn't mention that he came down on Earnhardt coming out of the tri-oval. Really Nascar was at fault for the last lap at Talladega, they were just asking for it with that late shootout when it was sprinkling. They should have never called a caution. They called it after Earnhardt put a sick move on Rusty at the end of the race.
@maverickfa14 I do remember the following weekend @ Darlington for the Southern 500 Rusty had a sticker on his car with the 3 crossed out. In the waning laps Rusty was all over Dale's bumper as they both tried to catch Gordon for the win, but didn't wreck him.
rusty says " hes not gonna forget Talladega and I'm not going forget this.
good catch oldiamsir24. damn those were some serious and power words.. i notice all dale could do after that is nod is head... cant blame rust though rusty could've got killed when dale spun him and sent him flying at Talladega. man this his some real drama when those drivers literally knew they were risky everything for the thrill of victory
The official in between Earnhardt and Wallace is basically calling for backup because stuff is about to get real. "Somebody get down here!". lol Earnhardt had no fear of Wallace and you have to respect Rusty because he was ready to go toe-to-toe with the man. Kyle Busch would have already crapped his pants. :) Wallace once threw a water bottle at Earnhardt when the crews had them separated, was this another time?
@zzremington yeah i bet you didnt know when richard petty started his damn roll cage was pressurized with nitrous ... how else do you think he was that fast even compared to other chargers/ challengers that were fully backed by chrysler maurice had his cage pessurized and he had 50 extra horsepower at the press of a button located on the bottom of the pedal ... he might would still have 7 championships but he damn sure wouldnt have 200 wins
Earnhardt was the Intimidator inside and outside a race car. This is a man ladies and gentleman! The 5"8 Horse jockey racers today would never have a chance...oh and Earnhardt would have kicked Rusty's ass!
"DALE UR THE BEHZZT!" - Typical Earnhardt fan.

so it is ok for Dale sr to do that... but not kyle busch or tony stewart or gordon? oh the hypocracy!

@spudracer13
Earnhardt did it old school and not blatantly stupid like the kids do today. There's bumpin and bangin and then there is plain cheap shots.

Earnhardt was looking like a boss. Now a days drivers would of argued with their helmets on for fear of getting punched.
