  • DigitalInputMonitor

    DigitalStereoMix

    MasterControlsIndependentMixerInputs

    EnableInputMonitor

    EnableInputMonitor 01

  • I was waiting till the end for you to minimize the notepad. and you didn't!!!

  • nice babe

  • W8 wut # was the mastercontrolindependentmixerinput?

  • I did not have any filter or rear

  • The author of this video is a great man... a genius. This solution is simple, clear and it works - solving a problem I've had with my PC for a while Thank you.

  • i dun have any folder pass setting as well T.T

  • i get all they way to settings but i have no filter folder...

  • @ufp117 Do you have a Rear folder?

  • @jon213456 SAME I DONT HAVE IT

  • @jon213456 17 folders in it lol

  • I dont seem to have a MasterControlsIndependentMixerInputs

    -_-

  • no MasterControlsIndependentMixerInputs in that folder. any other names for that??

  • @VoltageWorkshop

1:Create it and remember to set the binary to 00 . 2: As long as its in the rear folder, use which ever say's mastercontrol.

if the above doesn't work, make sure you erase the folder created in option 1 if you opt to use option 2.If none of these option's work i don't know what else you could do.

  • @jon213456 I got folder 0005 and 0017 both don't have settings but globalsettings wich don't have the map filter in it please help

  • First of all. Im not a noob. Lol. But thanks alot for this Tutorial. Its the only one that I found useful. You got Stereo mix on so I can stream. So thanks. THUMBS UP**

  • @CallEnigma911 No prblem,im glad it help'd atleast one person, since a few other's have been telling me it didn't work for them.

  • @jon213456 Yeah, I read the comments. Idiots/Noobs/Retards don't do it right...

  • @jon213456 there is no "settings" for me :( on 0017 there is only drivers

  • It was good until I reached the point SETTINGS where there was no folder called FILTER...just two folders: DevType_0861_SS173410b8 and Drv5247_DevType_0861_SS173410b8 ??? Any idea what this is all about? I'm losing my mind with this problem some time very soon!!!

  • @PuolituinenHobitti No idea, did any of those folders open? if yes, look for the rear or filter folder in there.other then that i don't know what to say.

  • @jon213456 no they didn´t and inside of those folders wasn´t anything that reminds rear or filter...maybe i´ll just use another laptop. Thanks anyway!

  • @jon213456 i have the same problem.. no filter or rear and in the folders settings there arent they two.

    No video help :(

But this is the first vid that shows a good way, and not only how to "disable and enable in options"

    nice vid.

  • It did not work for me...it DID enable "Input Monitor" when I go to sound-control, but it didn't enable Stereo-Mix (it doesn't even show up). None of the tutorials seem to help. Whenever I restart my computer and go to my volume controls, I have the following options:

    Volume Control

    Wave

    SW Synth

    CD Player

and Input Monitor. (all are check-marked)

No matter how many time I retype the binaries/restart my computer, Stereo-Mix does not show up...none of the tutorials work.

  • Hmm strange, make sure you go to volume control/options/recording,it should be there

ive done this with 3 computers and so far its always work'd.

What computer model do you have?,i might be able to help you still

  • After following the video instructions, the only options I have under "recording" are Line-In, Rear Mic, and Microphone.

I have the Dell XPS 400 with Windows XP.

  • I don't know what could be wrong then, maybe it doesn't work with all models, what i can suggest is go thru the video again and make sure all the binary values are set correctly, thats what i had the most issues with at he begenning, other then that i don't know what else to say.

  • I've tried multiple videos and I've followed the instructions to the latter. You are probably right about the "only certain models", thing. Thanks for trying to help me out, anyways. I might figure it out, eventually.
