sound was pretty bad on Spectrum too. I can hear what you mean of course but to me it sounds exactly the same as it does on spectrum but then that may just be my rose tinted glasses (err ears).

i'm not talking about the tonal quality here (I love the speccy's internal-beeper sound)

load up any other emulator, (on your PC, Mac, whatever) and you wont hear those 'pops' / clicks.

even ZXDS has better sound than this video demonstrates on the Wii.

I will definately give other roms a go also. I was just so overjoyed at being able to get a speccy emulator on the wii. I'll also have a better listen just incase the dazzle is adding any artifacts.

@Vayduh Nope, there's definitely extra clickiness. The title theme (Moonlight Sonata) should be pure tones. Also, the guy who said this is a hacked version with modified rooms is correct, e.g. first room should be Bathroom (not Toilet) and should have two platform levels.

Really. Looks the same to me but then that was a LONG time ago. I should get it out of the attic and crank up the old tape player again to check LOL.

Point me to an original ROM then :P

it's definately an editted screen version.

speccy's have tape images or snapshots mostly. only a handful (10?) roms were ever released.

world of spectrum will have the original version.

That's a hacked version of Jet Set Willy. The screen layouts are completely different to the original game.
