4771 has issues with SMG and Animal Crossing. You have to get the release before that.

Direct 3D9 the game starts, makes a savefile and stops after i chose that i want to play with this save file.

@NyaShadowHunter I got it working with the new release (2.0 RC1). Framerate leaves more to be desired though but nice to see improvement.

A nice challenge for this particular game, once this emulator is finalized a bit, would be to enable the player to use a controller button to perform Mario's spin (rather than a flick of the Wiimote). Shoehorning Wiimote control into this title was the only thing that kept it from being perfect. (And let's face it: that's what you call it when you have to flick a wand to achieve something that was better off being a button press.) Wiimote shoehorning also made Mario Kart Wii inferior to GC.

i have a HD4870X2 + E8400 @4.1GHz + 4Gb DDR2, same settings to the video, i'm in 1080p, and in game i have 30 to 40 FPS max, in my toshiba P300-220 i have 15 to 30 FPS max...

Growing up, I played games for the gameplay, not 'how good it looks', despite having a graphics card capable of playing games at max settings, it's stupid to buy games just for that imho.

And, the Wiimote appeal wore off for most gamers really quickly. It's more or less waggling it about.. Like after urination with guys.

You can connect a Wiimote and Nunchuck to your PC using bluetooth, and use that with this emulator.

The only difference in controls, is that you can actually choose whether you want to use the mouse+keyboard, or get a cheap bluetooth adapter.

You appear to be a bit retarded if you think all people who use emulators don't pay for their games.

It's very easy to transfer a retail copy of a disc to your computer, using a retail bought disc in the Wii console and an application through the Homebrew Channel.

It makes alot of sense to use an emulator instead of the actual console, as most people don't have TV's in their room. This is far more convenient, especially for persons like myself with more than one monitor.

It's a valid argument to use, considering people who pirate on the Wii are infact a minority (the actual sales number of games would prove this). Out of the minority, you have to realise 'most' of them have a computer that's fully able to run this emulator, very well.

Do note, the Wii isn't as powerful as you're making it out to be.
