  • This is funny as Hell! Not one of these songs was a Pop Hit in America in 1978!

  • Joze Hoebee

  • these guys look like bitches...hormones in food has really changed the general population.

  • 00:00-1:50 Looks like the Regal Beagle if they had hired a band for the night...

  • is that blonde girl 3:52 margaret out of M*A*S*H

  • @endracismguy No that is not Loretta Swit; it is Marga Scheide of the Dutch pop group Luv.

  • 1978 was the best time to be alive i remember it well

  • Super muza.

  • Cud,miód i orzeszki

  • love it!

  • I liked this one ...and they came into the casino! xx

  • these are Hit's in Europe though not USA

  • @kyolym Yes but the US ones were generally shite in comparison. (apart from the Eagles)

  • ОБАЛДЕТЬ, как мне повезло по юности, что такие музыканты БЫЛИ!!!!!

  • Great - until the f**ckin kraut

  • this is smokie

  • dfg

  • Oh man these were horror times

  • Are there all clips? They playback all

    !!

  • Musik aus meinen jungen Jahren - das ist mal ein Medley so richtig nach meinem Geschmack. Plastic Bertrand war damals so ein typisches One-Hit-Wonder, die anderen waren damals feste Größen im Showbizz.

  • oh child hood memory back way back..when iwas in bad godes burge,,bonn.. needles and pins was my favourate..all the songs draw a smile,,

    sha la la la

  • Needles and Pins was written by Sonny Bono and as far as I know originally done by The Searchers back in the early to mid 1960s.

  • Jack Nitzsche and Sonny Bono.

  • and originally recorded by Jackie DeShannon in 63,searchesrs was 64

  • ЭХ,КАКИЕ ВРЕМЕНА БЫЛИ...!!!

  • Fantastic compilation!

Love Smokie and also the rest.

  • I was born in '67...I have never heard of these songs...but sounding great.

  • I was only few month old but hell it must have been fun

  • it was

  • those girls of "luv" a pretty nuts.

  • I do not remember any of these from the 70's!!! Was I stoned????? Maybe this was not the mainstream at the time!!!

  • It was absolutely main stream. I think you must not have been around then. Or just stoned. One of the two.

  • I had a two year old in 78, must have been asleep when this was shown on TV. Then again it looks and sounds like it was not from the United States Of America. If it were from a different country, I was poor and did not have cable and that would explain why I never heard of any of these singers. Sorry!!!

  • I do remember the first one. Needles and Pins. They must have been a band that played in the USA?

  • They were The Searchers ..Had a few hits in UK in the early 60s .. This group, Smokie..were just covering it

  • I'm from Australia and know most of the songs. We didn't get cable till the 90's so I must know them from the radio. Maybe they were more popular down here.

  • Yeah, me neither. I think they must be from an alternate universe.

  • all those years ogo...confusing lyrics and only gettin them when u taped them from the radio and listened a dozen times....priceless

  • fantastic music

  • OMG, brings back memories, and Errol Brown he was one bad mother..... cool.

  • Indead it does, 1 was 14 at the tome and spend my allowance mostly on '45,s and tapes!

  • Yeah, I spend a lot of money too on 45's and recorded them on tape, I was 16 back then.

  • I like it

  • ca plane pour moi...great

  • y...quien es el par de pendejos que salen al final???????

  • son un par de conductores de tv alemana si no me equivoco.....

  • and then americans wonder why all that hate from the world... well ,it is because of some assholes like BigDaddy2566

  • The only ones that hate americans are pussys like you, who talk shit on a comp and then punk out in person

  • ohhh.... so u wanna hit me ??....well ... if that makes u happy..then again .. it doesn't have anything to do with the fact that u are an asshole.. ok ok ... an american asshole .. better???all right ... I admit it ... u can beat me up...yet .. that doesn't make you less of a stupid asshole empty headed punk ... have a happy year

  • i heard this way back. thanx for putting it up

  • the old songs are the best x

  • This were all giant hits in Europe.

  • I saw Hot Chocolate live at a club. They were just top class.

  • Pop hits?? from what country?? This is wierd!

  • I grew up during the height of the disco music in the 70's (in college) and I have to laugh at this posting. I've didn't even recognize these tunes. How old is the person who posted these...LOL They must be from another planet..

  • This must be European. I remember the Ramones doing Needles and Pins back in the 70's. I dont know who those guys were.

  • Luv is from Holland

  • There was a seventies hit...chorus sounded like women singing. chorus sounded like "I'llll be you want to, you want to, you want to".

    Anyone know this song?

  • Restless84 are you thinking about "I want you to want me" by Cheap Trick ???

    DW

  • Luv would probably have done very well at ESC with that song.

  • Boney M were AWESOME! Better than half the stuff in the charts these days imo.

  • I totally agree with you verkaforever. Boney M were something special!!!

  • They certainly were.
