Um - this is Matt Cameron - the drummer from legendary Soundgarden - these aren't garage punks - that's just the style they're playing here. Guitarist John McBain was originally in Monster Magnet and is a tremendous player - maybe you need to listen to a few albums before you pass judgement on this great band based on one song - peace.

Rhythmically, it isn't too difficult to do. The challenging part is having enough breath to sing well and full. It requires good stamina and breath control. Not so easy with hard rock, but singing while drumming is easier with soft music like lounge jazz or ballads.
