  • tarquin this is so wonderful. How did you find it. Do you know how and when he sang it. Is it available as a recordng?

  • Ive seen many, many performers over the years......No one could touch him for stage presence...and that voice..omg

  • Such a beautiful falsetto

  • I had heard that Marty Robbins could sing in the Hawaiian Language in high Falsetto, but this is the first time that I heard it. Thanks tarquin for the post.

  • This beautiful. The steel guitar and the voice seems like one excellent

  • Fabuloso...belo.

  • beautiful, and nice montage.

one of my favorite yoga shows on wybe was hosted by Wailana

  • What a great falsetto, one of the best. I'de like to see a first class dancer perform to this

  • celle là je ne la connaissait pas!

    chapeau! grand chanteur...

  • My goodness, how beautiful! This was some singer! I recently read his childhood story as told by his twin sister Mamie. It broke my heart to read how poor they were and the difficulties they encountered in their childhood. Nevertheless, Marty rose above it all and became one of the best, if not the best, singer/performer and remained humble throughout it all. Rest in peace dear one with your devoted wife and the rest of your band members.

  • A beautiful instrumental version of this song was recorded by Bill Haley & His Comets(!!) on their album "Strictly Instrumental", featuring their steel guitarist Billy Williamson...

  • Yes, he did write a western novel called 'The Small Man' which I have never read. How easy it is to obtain could be problematical; I've never seen it on e-bay.

  • hi im back i can remember reading that our marty wrote a novel called the small man anyone know about it many thanks paul uk
