Well apperantley, The First day I got Sony vaio I was really excited I was happy . I got the same lap top as this guy is reviewing right now . And NOW I have loads loads of virus's . But I noticed once I open Limewire It gets virus's . And I downloaded norton now. But now norton has stopped the virus's . Im so glad . I think I should stick to Sony Vaio . It's One of the best Lap tops I've ever used so far .

My Sony Vaio SUCKS and has been a nightmare of glitches, errors, crashes, you-name-it since I bought it less than a year ago. Sony tech support have not been helpful! I've sent it back and received the SAME laptop in the SAME condition back to me. I will never buy another Sony product again in my life!

I got a Vaio when I was in Tokyo.. Its really good.. but a word of advice is that you should buy the versions that are made for the western market.. but if youre really keen on getting the newest of the newest then you should buy one from japan. but you have to put up with japanese keyboard and operating system.. but they're actually better and they export the older models overseas it seems.

Actually all the VAIO Japanese model we sell nowdays come with US English keyboard, so you don't have to worry about that anymore. And of course, we convert everything to 100% English OS.

The popular one right now are: TZ series for 11 inches, G series for 12 inches and Z series for 13 inches. Z series have the most performance but if you want lightweight TZ and G are your choice.

I have a friend who just bought a Vaio VGNFZ240E and he wanted to use the built in video cam to chat thru skype.  He got the mic working but has no clue how to get the video to work. Since I am a Mac guy and we dont have these problems I could not really tell him how to set up and configure the video cam aspect. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I can assure u that the battery doesn't last for 8 hours. I was fascinated too but when i bought it i saw that is not true. Yes is better then the older batteries ex: FS or tx series but does not last for 8 hours maximum 7. But i still love it ..... so it's cool.

Ye, i have one. Well, the shell is actually not out of aluminium, it's out of a magnesium-alloy but thats equal and it looks very good. I've got a FZ21Z with BluRay-Drive, all Vaio's of the FZ-Serie got a magnesium shell! Great machine, it's really worth the money!
