Idiotic slogan. Any type of shoe on my foot makes my feet sweaty as hell. There is no type of shoe ANYWHERE that is better than barefoot, and I own both VFF's and Stem shoes, so I should know.
Shoes protect a lot more than just the outside of ones foot, especially when training 75-100 miles a week. Figured that out after training under a former Olympic Athlete during my time running at the collegian and professional levels. I think i'll stick with shoes.
It's actually a follow up commercial to an older one where that same guy is walking in hot coals... Sooooo there's your disgusting foots origin my friend.
the dude is obviously a runner (explains cut up and disgusting foot). Its a running shoe providing protection to a foot so it doesn't get cut up and sores. makes sense. super A+ bro guy
@Tflair dude...I am a runner and i can tell you my feet dont get cut up running barefoot. I live without shoes and if you give your feet a chance to get healthy and strong the ground provides just about no hazards. Including glass. In just about any circumstance, feet dont need protection.
wow what an offensive commerical...and way to depict feet as if they are cut up, disgusting, and covered in sores...that is pathetic...the only reason they say its better than barefoot is because they cant make money off of bare feet.
This is the best video in the series. The slogan is stupid.

Damn. it's fucking fantastic.. worth the money. Very "stream-lined" and you feel like you're gliding when running.
