How does her calling herself African American do a disservice to African Americans in this country? She was BORN in Africa which essentially makes it her homeland and her family migrated to USA (I don't think she had much say in either decision)It is a fair statement to say she is "African American". Let's not make this a nasty race thing...she is simply stating that she was born and raised in one place and finished growing up in another.
