  • @TheMelis80 I got frontosas with my yellow electrics?

  • love your setup

  • AMAZING TANK PLEASE WATCH MY VIDEO Lake Malawi African Cichlids Aquarium

  • Are Cichilds hard fish to care for?

  • @iJacksFishTanks

Nope, in fact they are easier than many fish, just so long as your tank is large enough(40+ gallons for 1-2)

  • These are beautiful!

  • Great vid, but be carefull. I had a tank similar to yours, and in the end the male electric yellow killed all my colorfull cichlids every other day. By the way, what was the name of your deep red one?

  • mate what lightning do you use ?

  • wat food u use so that they have such bright colors??

  • Malawi, Tanganyika and South American cichlids in a tank? I wouldn't do that.

  • my tank is malawi but this makes me want to add some south and central american fish to my aquarium , nice set up keep up the good work check out my tank

  • nice collection of fish

  • i bet u have to pay so much money for those beautys!!!

  • why do you have africans and south americans?

  • @horselovermkdm its possible that they can go together like any other fish and african cichlids. but its not recommended

  • 5*

  • what are the name of some of those fish? i want to add more to my south american tank.

  • @TheBlacktwisted1 they are african peacock cichlids

  • beautiful fish, what kind of lighting system and bulbs do you use?

  • hey sweet tank you should check out my tank too!! just go to my vid and comment thanks!!

  • cool video. the orange one with the orange edged fins with lines on his face what are those called?scientific or normal name ?

im about to starty my cichlid tank net week.

  • I love this tank great choice in Fish, i can literally watch this video over and over again.

How many gallons is that and what do you use to get your fish such beautiful colors?

  • Beautiful! Yes I have a canister filter Magnum 350 and my tank is ALWAYS that clear! Love the fish. You might have issues with the Terror and Dempsey yes but maybe not. I had a very docile Dempsey who was in with Angels!!! If you could believe it! YOu never know! Lovely!

  • what kind of chiclid was the red and black one

  • @Chiclidking1214 i think its a flameback hap , its from lake victoria

  • @clintwe04 who are you their father? some wierdos on youtube

  • no fair.. you get the big tank..with lots of cichlids :) Im jealous :P I want a big cichlid tank sooooooooo bad

  • gorgeous red empress and frontosa.

  • you should remove that green terror its not good to have an american fish in that tank

  • @gabrielaculau10

lol fish aren't racist, unlike human

  • Nice Looking African Cichlids, I would get rid of the South American Cichlid. Increase the PH to 9.0 and these africans will really color up.

  • amerikan cichlides with malawi's an tangajaka's?

    this is not good

  • @hiphopmove96 i have 3 american and 3 african cichlids and they do fine together

  • @jptzy

that's fine but the fishes life better when they live in a species aquarium.

  • like your jack dempsy buddy

  • @EdwardDaniell Jack Dempsey

  • i love reading these idiots comment on not mixing cichlids lol. They obvioulsy have NO experience of keeping fish.

  • Omg such beautiful fish. Love em all

  • beautiful fish

  • @dribbleisme. Those africans cichlids look awesome! What size are they?

  • how much fish do you have???

  • whats the fish at 0:22 its beautiful

  • @bakergreen5 red empress

  • If you took the Green Terror out and made a second South American aquarium it would be a lot better. Africans and South Americans should never be kept together. They require different water parameters and the South Americans grow over 3 times larger than a African Cichlid(apart from the Convict and Fire Mouth). They are also way more aggressive than the Africans.

  • you have that one hump cichlid! that is worth bucks! right?

  • what types of cichlids are in this video i notice the frontosa and the electric yellow but whats the other types in there im tryin to build a new tank and looking for fish and i like how you put yours together looks real nice

  • what´s the name of this red and black cichlid??

  • look at :20, Whats the name of the fish that all the way in the corner at this shot, it has like neon blue lines in it, looks sick!!!!

  • @tnutty222 think its a green terror

  • beautiful fish and tank.what kind of substrate is that?

  • what is the one with the red top? Is it an asshole?

I'd like to add some red to my tank, but I've got 2 peacocks that I'm trying to protect.

  • 3 suggestions :

    - Not enough stones

    - The fishtank is too small for so much cichlids

    - Buy real food !

  • wow cool fish

  • small tank!!!

    Muito pequeno cara, Aqua minusculo.

  • Is that a peacock bass in there?

  • I love seeing well put together tanks! Great job

  • great looking tank dude fish look very happy and healthy.

  • u suk nd ur a stupid nerd

  • beautiful....nice colors its like a rainbow!!

  • Beautiful Tank!

  • Very Nice, I'm switching over to these from My native tank My sunny is agressive so he can stay

  • hahaha i tried oscar and cichlid together didnt get along so i had 2 move the oscar

  • Nice tank check out one of my many tanks.

  • some super pretty cichlids in this tank :)

  • nice frontosa....check out my cichlid tank!

  • like the tank! did you feed them cichlid gold from Hikari ?

  • Beautiful tank gave me a Cichlid Nerd wood

  • isn't it hard to have african cichlids with south americans cause they both need different types of water?

  • whats that red and blue fish?.. [red on top.]

  • frontosas are so cool

  • WOW! your tank looks so beautiful and your fish are so colorful. Your whole tank is like the closes of having a saltwater aquarium with it's colorful fish and all without the difficulties that comes along with having a saltwater tank.

  • how big is the tank

  • hehe frontosa seems to be more aggressive than usual. check mine out i also have one living with all sorts of other cichlids

  • Your Tank looks very clean, I hope it stays this way, I found the only filter thats worth anything IS THE EXTERNAL CANISTER one, and my CIchlids did real good w/it

keep up the good work! Beautifull!

  • i am thinking of setting up a cichlid tank, is 125 litre o.k or is it too small, please reply thanks

  • ideally you want 200ltr minimum

  • 0:06 lmao the frontosa is like "outta my way!! NOM NOM NOM NOM!"

  • malawi and tanganikaaarrrr

  • nice lookin front

  • at first i was like -.-

    then i was like 0-0

  • what lights do you have ?

  • If you have your GT acclimated to living with the Front and other Africans, and there is little to no fighting, never remove him:P. How often do you find a GT that will tolerate being in an aquarium with those tank mates? soooo lucky... Also, GTs can handle the high pH and water hardness easily, they are a very adaptable species, just make sure that once there is any sort of fighting you take him out because the others might not make it.

  • awesome how you trust green terrors in with ur front. i'm so protective of my frontosa. if anything picks on it at all it's out. he's still only about 3 or 4 inches though. still a lil guy

  • Wow! I wish I had cichlids!

How many gallones has your tank got?

  • nice job on the 1st video

  • nice cichilds

  • ur green terror is really good

  • Very cool! And Cichlids are tough. They'll be fine. I love them cuz accept for a few varieties (Discus) you can't kill them. Very pretty assortment. You may need a bigger tank eventually though. Some of those bad boys gonna get big! lol

  • Very nice, love the fish, but is not good to mix fish from different waters, there you have Victoria, Malawi, Tanganika Lakes and even some New World Cichlids, they do fine, but the water parameters are too different and can have secondary effects at long time, but still, love your tank. 5/5.

  • i agree 100% u shouldnt mix diferent fish an i would neve leave a frontoda alone without a group EVER.

  • is that like a black light?

  • nice tank... check mine out when you get a chance.

  • FANTASTIC !!!!!! great looking fish man . what types and breeds are they ??

  • Nice Cichlids.

  • feed them goldfish! haha

  • How big is your tank?

  • daam!!! this is perfect! congratulations beauty tank

  • Beaultiful fishes.

  • very healthy fish and great lighting!....what kind of bulb do you have in there?

  • man your tank is clean. Really nice

  • how big is your tank

  • lol i fink you need to feed them more often

  • i have a front with american cichlids he is fine and has been for nearly 2 years now

  • Wow beautiful. How big's the tank?

  • i really like that Frontosa....i want one but i think it's african. Can i mix Africans with my South Americans?

  • no the africans will kill the south americans the african cichlids are way more aggressive.

  • Ive kept them together for years with no problems

  • Please tell me what you feed them!!! Ive had my fish for a couple of days and i think he is dying he isnt eating much.

  • How did you keep the water crystal clear?

    What's the secret?

  • Water changes, a good filter, not overfeeding fish.

  • nice front!

  • Nice fish!!!!!!!!!!!! do you have a background on it?

  • lol. that food was gone in a millisecond

  • my kind of tank. gratz!!

  • Beautiful... Absolutely beautiful! :)

  • NICE TANK BRO..

  • hi i have 4 kigoma frontosas, 2 clown plecos, 1 convict, 1 electric blue ahli, and 1 kribensis, how many more fish can i fit in a 55 gallon

  • cool fish dribble but you need more rocks stacked higher with more holes for fish to hide in .. also if those plants is real they will trash them an clog ya filter .. good number of fish for size of tank not overcrowded like others here

    good work

  • BEAUTIFUL TANK!!! =O My chiclid's arn't that pretty, are you a breeder?

  • amazing managing to keep african malawi cichlids and south american new world cichlids together

  • I love to Cynotilapia and the green terror. what type of sand do you use??

  • are these tropical fish? as in kept in a tank with a heater?

  • yes they are their from afracia

  • some of them are South American cichlids and some are African cichlids

  • nice! love the cichlid combination

  • What kinds of fish can live peacefully with Cichlids?

  • "cichlids", dosen't mean just africans. Oscars, Jack Dempseys, Green Terrors, Red Devils, and don't quote me on it, but I think I've even heard Angelfish are all cichlids. If you want africans, just remember they are territorial, and need some space, as well as an elevated PH level.

  • nice tank

  • what size is that tank

  • 5' long. 110gallons

  • Nice Male Frontosa!!!

  • whats the name of the fish at 0:26?

  • That fish is a Frontosa Burundi i love these fish

  • thought it was a buttikofferi

  • It maybe ive always known them as Burundis

  • nice specimen(s) tank

  • God damn... theres just everything :/ couldn't you just go with one kind of fish. I bet they are havin some bad time swimming around with no partners :/

  • Nice tank beautiful coloring and nice green terror and frontosa!

  • Your lucky. Its not really the ideal setup, one or the other is suffering in some way, just not too badly i guess.

The dog and cat thing was the only analogy i could think of. thanks for ruining it. lol!

  • Take the green terror out. Africans and South Americans are totally different, its like putting dogs and cats in the same room - they don't understand eachother, and they don't have the same needs.

Besides, the green terror is gorgeous - he should have his own tank. =P

  • yeah they're different, but they get along just fine and are healthy. In fact I added another female green terror and they breed every 30-40 days and are doing great still.......by the way my cat and dog play together all the time:)

  • @dribbleisme Did you get the Green terror as a Juvenile? or did you buy him like that? He looks great.

  • @Jacobcfuller they actually do fine together, Ive got mixed africans with jewels, a couple green terrors, and other south american fish like pink tail chalceus.

  • nice rift lake tank, i specially liek the frontosa

  • Sweet!

    >IIID

    Helives!

  • I dont know why people is always so worry about mixin up cichlids, from Africa and South America? this is a perfect example that if you take care of them, they'll live just fine, nice colors, nice fins, and always hungry, love this tank. I'm working on my 125g,hope to get it done soon, and put up some videos.

  • Water condition is different from these continents. Malawi have GH and ph mutch higher then Amazon.

  • they have different ph levels so it does matter actually!!!

  • cichlids=chow hounds

  • excellent tank, very nice fish! what kind of lighting is that???

  • 48" fluorescent powerglo bulb

  • can enyone tell me the name of that bright red top and black belly one plz :)

  • pundamilia nyererei

  • Nice ;)))) Complimennti ;)))

  • wats the name of the bright red one on 0;32 ?

  • Im amazed by how they get along with each other, coz mine just wont get along... I had to put the separator, it ruins the tank decor.

  • Amazing tank. I just got my first cichlid tank and I have no clue of the fishes in it. We have a few common. Could you please name all of yours. I could check their care on the net.

  • How many gallon is your tank? You got some really beautiful fishs and a nice setup. I would imagine that the large frontosa is the dominant figure that would chase the other around. Do they all get along?

Any injured for dead fishs from fighting?

  • it's a 110 gallon tank, and everybody gets along fine and has for years....
