Good ol Billie Joe. Been a fan for over 15 years now. Not too crazy bout the new stuff but the one thing I will always love about Green Day is their honesty and passion for their music. Billie Joe's heart is still in it and you can tell when he is up there there is no other play he'd rather be. Great tunes.

I think dookie and kerplunk were great albums when they were released and still are now. They're my faves :P

I'm 14 now (I'm a boy =/) and all of the people in my age group who like Green Day (very rare to find) just like 21st CBD, AI and Dookie. None of them know what 1039/SOSH or Kerplunk! is. When I first learned that green day was releasing a new album a little over a year ago I like many people was overly excited when I downloaded the new album I thought well it's ok its not great but then I realized that the majority of America isn't into them and thats the beauty of Green Day they are doing it because they want to have fun my first theory was that they were selling out but if they were it'd be a lot worse Green Day has no rules Green day is still great and thats why.
