Of course, he was a dictator and used force in his Chad battle and Abu Sleem. @IbnFawzi His appearance on TV promising to stop those "hired rats" is being greatly misexplained on media on purpose. They claim he said he will "kill all libyans" which is not what he said. He clearly said that he was facing islamic extremists who took control over benghazi and albeida (which is now admitted by the US itself by the way... after they called him a looney for saying it). He said he'll clean the country of these hired rats who don't represent libyans. Which is true by the way.
@IbnFawzi at one point, Albeida city was declared an islamic emirate when the rebels first took control of it, and they were terrorizing people and wouldn't allow women to leave their homes. This has been said by Ghaddaffi's son and people called him a liar. NOW watch the western news. They recently admitted that "some" extremists took over Albeida months ago before Ghaddaffi's forces took back control of the city. Every single thing he and his son said turned out to be true no matter how weird.

I'm telling you me and many other libyans have seen complete fake video on Aljazeera TV about our regions supposedly being bombed by Ghaddaffi live when we were there and it didn't happen. He then came out and said "you now know who your enemy is".
@IbnFawzi in fact, there isn't a single evidence that he bombarded civilians. No one was able to provide proof... but now after the NATO intervension, everything got mixed up on purpose.
Before I leave the country, Ghaddaffi let in journalists and reporters and they went with the public libyan people to visit the places the media claimed he bombed. They shot videos and testimonies of everything. It was all a big clear lie. They sent the reports to their news statiosn but nothing was aired.
@IbnFawzi One and a half million people (close to 2 millions) rallied on the street in support of Ghaddaffi, and the whole libya is only 4 to 5 million people. Doesnt' mean the rest don't support him, but merely there was no space for everyone in the green square and the streets around it that day.
Now tell close to 2 million people were simply "afraid" of him and they demonstrated out of fear. This is ridiculous. Most libyans are with Ghaddaffi. Very few are against him for personal reaons.

Now show me one country where political convicts aren't faced by extreme force. If they are not killed, they remain prisoners for years. Either he gets rid of them or they get rid of him. I was in Libya during the beginning of these events & spent long time there before the events as well. Ghaddaffi cut oil off the US and most European countries except Italy (he gives to China & Russia as well and had plans to give them even more). He mainly cut off oil to the US and the rest of Europe because they were giving him the runabouts when he asked for lockerbie compensation.

@IbnFawzi When they wanted to negotiate with him, he said because they didn't want to compensate libyans for over a decade of wrongful sanctions over the lockerbie case which Libya was framed for, and Ghaddaffi accepted the frame due to political reasons and agreements with the west. He was pushing for compensation but they didn't want to. When they came back asking for oil, he told them they now need to pay him in Golden Dinar. Doesn't take a genius to figure out why they took him down.

Again, you don't see this on TV, but they HAD to kill a lot of civilians so that afterwards when reporters are allowed in, they blame it on Ghaddaffi. The very first two buildings NATO hit were a hospital and a school. Ever since NATO came in & the death figures really sky rocketed. I was lucky enough to leave the country before they interfered. @huaxiong90 Aljazeera is not really "biased" against the west. They are FOOLING you. They HAVE to act a lil biased towards the west to brush off the accusations they are receiving everyday that they are a puppet of the west just like their Qatar prince is.
If Aljaeera doesn't condemn Israel for example on a regular basis, the arab masses will not believe it and will take a negative stance against it. If it doesn't condemn the US policy once in a while, no one will believe it.

Before I leave the country, Ghaddaffi let in journalists and reporters and they went with the public libyan people to visit the places the media claimed he bombed. They shot videos and testimonies of everything. It was all a big clear lie. They sent the reports to their news statiosn but nothing was aired.

@IbnFawzi One and a half million people (close to 2 millions) rallied on the street in support of Ghaddaffi, and the whole libya is only 4 to 5 million people. Doesnt' mean the rest don't support him, but merely there was no space for everyone in the green square and the streets around it that day.
Now tell close to 2 million people were simply "afraid" of him and they demonstrated out of fear. This is ridiculous. Most libyans are with Ghaddaffi. Very few are against him for personal reaons.

Second,all of this shit is not true,because the rebels killed black ppl and not the opposite.He didnt kill his own people until they brought their weapons on.Thats just an excuse for the NATO to react on Libya.The truth is,polcie was on teh streets trying to supress the protestants,and then a few retards came in with guns starting to shoot the police,so millitary arrived and shot back.Also what KFOR and NATO are doing now on Kosovo is real human,shooting Serbian peacful protestants in their back

I was in Libya during the beginning of these events & spent long time there before the events as well. Ghaddaffi cut oil off the US and most European countries except Italy (he gives to China & Russia as well and had plans to give them even more). He mainly cut off oil to the US and the rest of Europe because they were giving him the runabouts when he asked for lockerbie compensation.

@IbnFawzi When they wanted to negotiate with him, he said because they didn't want to compensate libyans for over a decade of wrongful sanctions over the lockerbie case which Libya was framed for, and Ghaddaffi accepted the frame due to political reasons and agreements with the west. He was pushing for compensation but they didn't want to. When they came back asking for oil, he told them they now need to pay him in Golden Dinar. Doesn't take a genius to figure out why they took him down.

@IbnFawzi during the conflict in libya, when the CIA and Mossad infiltrated Benghazi (don't believe this? search youtube... it is even admitted by the US gov itself that they funded the rebels in Benghazi via CIA agents, while Mossad instructed NATO)... when that happened, the US stole the first oil shipment from Benghazi and took it to the US. They even made a big deal out of it on the news "Our first oil shipment from Libya! yepeee!".
