so offensive. pilipinos should really stop doing Katutubo dances and culture. it hurts our culture and identity and in the end, pilipinos only capitalize from it.
i concur with all who say this is not an igorot dance. it has bastardized elements/moves from some igorot dances, but then again it seems that some elements of other dances from down south (which I am not familiar with) were also borrowed. very creative for the choreographer, but the result can very well be disturbing to some people. maybe a creative change in the title will do the trick.
this is culturally confusing! Do some more research please. This video might claim this is an igorot dance but the music , costume & rendetion is more likely from mindanao dances. this fo sure will hurt the sentiment of the igorot from the cordilleras.
Please, try to understand that we value our traditions here in the highlands. The dances are different from ours. We dont dance like that and GONGS and Day-eng is not the right one. Understand first our dance before performing it, including the people. Thank you

I do agree with some of those who made their comments, the sound and the costume are near to that of the Igorot gongs but the dance itself, really more of the Visayan area and near to Mindanao.. get your act together please coz this is really an insult to us!
I always consider these presentations as insults to the Igorots. Somebody (a non-Igorot )did that here in the Carolinas of the USA and I felt so insulted so I put on my wanes and to my kids and demonstrated to the audience the real Igorot dances and lambasted the poor, ignorant Igorot dance instructor kanu!!! shame, shame, shame...theatrical or not, nobody has the right to adulterate my culture...agbiag ti Cordillera
The sounds and the costumes are Igorot but most of the movements (specially the ladies hand movements) are definitely of the Southern Philippine culture type.
