@nadiacalat Gaga wasn't around at that time. I think these guys got squashed by their competitors: Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and others. Their sound was quite obscure, his voice, the time signatures and tunings. Good band nonetheless.

To think I had started with hating them (!)... "X french t shirt" was playing constantly on MTV's Alternative Nation back then...

By constant hearing the song... I eventually changed my mind... Woke up one day and found myself actually singing AND enjoying the song as well... Then bought Pony... and the rest is history:)
