Well, if it existed at that time the HD surely would have been so, but in reality the number of frames per second at that time was minor and there is not seen as natural. Another thing I see that has removed many scenes from other movies of that time as "Gone with the wind" for example amongst others. The actor I see very well made​up for the time, but rather the actress does not convince me at all (maybe a little insecure).

Bueno si en esa epoca hubiera existido el HD con toda seguridad se hubiera visto asi, pero en realidad el numero de cuadros por segundo en esa epoca era menor y de alli es que no la veo tan natural. Otra cosa veo que ha extraido muchas escenas de otras peliculas de esa epoca como "Lo que el viento se llevo" por ejemplo entre otras. Al actor lo veo muy bien maquillado para la epoca, mas bien ella no me convence del todo (tal vez un poco insegura).

this movie is just such an excellent motion picture. Nothing offensive, as in the age of silents and the early sound films, like Gone With The Wind, Singin' In The Rain, Citizen Kane, All About Eve, The Mark Of Zorro (1920), The Black Pirate (1926), The Thief Of Baghdad (1922), Robin Hood (1922), etc. The acting in this movie is perfect, and the music is absolutely majestic. I hope it wins Best Picture and the other 9 Oscars. It's an homage to an era Gone With The Wind.

I was dragged to see this film...before even seeing it, I knew I was going to hate it!!!! But then I actually watched it...it was really good!!! I've seen 7 of the 9 films nominated (Tree Of Life, The Help, Hugo, The Artist, Moneyball, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close and Midnight in Paris) and this is one of the best ones. I didn't really enjoy Hugo=/ If I were to choose the winner it would be a close call with Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close and The Artist
