I remember watching this movie in my biology class in high school. It scared me. Because imagine a deadly virus like that and it could wipe out that many people and spread so easily. I'm just glad those men came to their senses and didn't drop the bomb on the town. Order or not, it was wrong. That scene was VERY intense. Interesting movie, very good action and drama combination. Although, I now have disturbing feelings about the government. It was also kind of disturbing in the middle when all those people fell for their death trap. I would have stayed in my own house and died comfortably in my own bed, and have a funeral and be burried according to my wishes. Not be mutalated and burned like trash. If I was one those soliders, I would have hung myself with knowing I treated sick innocent people like that.

antibiotics do not kill a virus

the medicine you are given when you have the flu or somthing is to treat the symptoms vaccines do not cure viruses either, its basically an empty shell that antibodies attach to so that when you get the virus, it can be killed

plus you cant kill a virus in the body without destroying the dna of the cell

antibodies have to do all the work

Wow! What a awesome movie! It is 1 of the best I have ever seen. Its at the top of my favorite movies list now. Its just 1 of those fabulous 90's movies. It ended being better than I thought it would be. Sam saved the days. That is Dustin Hoffman, ha ha. I love him! As well as Morgan Freeman. Cuba Gooding Jr. was kick ass too. Their all great actors in this movie. I'm glad that bastard didn't get his way. A bunch of innocent people would have been killed for no reason at all then. Awesome movie!

What I don't get is this: if the H1N1 influenza (or swine flu) is now considered a pandemic, and it has killed who knows how many, shouldn't we see something that's remotely close to this going on? I mean, it is dangerous and very contagious, but the only type of protection I see is just a simple mask, which will not protect you 100%, you can still catch a virus with that mask on.
