So what do people find is different about the tele-presence experience versus say the experience of using a stable web-cam or just driving an rc car?

Yeah...I was thinking more of using it at home to check on the house, kids, cat, dog, etc...

Obviously the larger robot is better, but I wonder if the mini-me version could also have a use.
