@tiniblah How heavy are those puppets anyway? Especially the big one, and how hard were they to operate?

@coasterjudge The largest weighs about 100lbs and was pretty tough to operate you would need to be fairly fit to do it. My company Monkey Boys Productions does rent them.

Hey, a theater in my hometown just rented one of them! I know because my brother was in the band for it.

It looks fantastic and freaked out some audience members!

@tiniblah when my high school did it (four or so years ago, I've graduated now) the plant weighed a TON and was the scariest thing we'd ever seen. When the show was over every weekend, we had to take turns carrying it back into storage, because we all were so afraid of it. As for weight, if I had to guess, I'd say at least 100 lbs. It was hugeee, but we had an amazing puppeteer who did a great job conducting the freaky thing.
