its really good but it feels like it could do with some more stuff behind it like there's the bass and there's the drums and samples but nothing like how you would have a pad in dance music to back everything up making a real ull sound(im no expert though)
this is really good! love the samples and variety of the wobbles, however the production is a teeny bit out at some places, but i only noticed because i have an OCD for that stuff, and i most definitely couldn't do better, only been using logic for 2 days :) peace.
@SuperBashy i made this track after learning music production for about half a year, so there are alot of mistakes and things that could be improved here, i completely agree.
haha nice. I don't think I know anyone who doesn' t I'm rediculous for liking that song you sampled in the beginning. Regardless, sick track. Let's have the mp3 yeah?
Some of the other samples are a bit tiresome, but Its smooth what you did with them.
@WaveMekanix haha thanx alot man n yea ino theres ALOT of samplin lol.. i got a cee lo green dubstep remix so stay posted my friend.. the download link i'll send ya now
@VestaJ17 Yeah, I've been working on a few dubstep tunes, and i'm looking to post them soon. I haven't posted anything in a while. I come from a dnb/rock background so I find it hard to take the minimalist approach. I also am an audio engineer and sound designer, so I have a refined knowledge of sound construction.
It's the same concept as a wobble (a hi square wave layered with a lower saw wave). Then send through a low pass filter, modulated by a LFO with the resonance turned up (try modulating the resonance as well) . Then send that signal through a lofi slightly downsampled distortion (sample and hold on NI Massive or use the bit crusher in Logic).
I love the rise in that throaty growl @ 0:41 @ 1:18 listen for the lamb.
@musicgiver1 yea i see wat u mean at the start its not flowin as nicely as it shud.. its sucha hard genre to do tho lol.. but thanx for ya feedback man
