I don't upload from PS3 and I have no idea if or how it's possible to do so.

To record from my PS3, I use a Happauge HD PVR (easy to figure out, comes with software, but it's expensive). This then feeds into my computer at the same time - and the files become saved on there once I'm done recording. I then upload to youtube from my PC.

I think you unlock characters at random by going through everyone's Galaxy mode. I can't remember which one I did to unlock Future Gohan, maybe Cell Junior?

Like I said, I think it's random.
