  • You have good taste in music. Iron lung is the shit. Their split with Hatred Surge is pretty sick. Check out: Neanderthal, Crossed Out, Rorschach, Man Is The Bastard, Coke Bust, and His Hero Is Gone(not PV but a must).

  • @aGEEBix You must be a new jack name dropping/trying to school like this, I am sure the uploader knows who the fuck they are.

  • CLASSIC

  • Love it.

Reminds me of Integrity having sex with spazz on several drugs.

  • the best!

  • who is that singer? sounds like Behind Enemy Lines vocalist

  • Where can i just find some iron lung?

  • I am so stoked that they are coming back to Australia...Sexless//No Sex is the best modern PV album to date.

  • @bloodybirdbrain

try 'primitive' - the endless blockade

  • @hoju2221 i have.that too is a brilliant album but S//NS was just too awesome for words.

  • @bloodybirdbrain

try 'primitive' - the endless blockade

  • @bloodybirdbrain

I totally agree man. Dare I say, it's better than their debut Life.Iron Lung.Death. and that, my friend, was an album!

  • @Punk93Metal i got both of those albums on vinyl, aswell as Supersonic Live 2009 and a rare glow in the dark 7" EP. By far the best band ive seen this year!

Walls also played down here (another band that Ward plays in) but they started down the coast and went up and then Iron Lung went back down. They were awesome aswell, they played the same night as Iron Maiden too ahaha(barely had any cash to see Maiden anyways). Everyone should check out Walls, sludgy Swans-style hardcore at its best.

  • @bloodybirdbrain Jensen Ward is the drummer

  • AHHHH Politics of Science gets me so worked up

  • Saw these guys at MDF2010, they were the high point of the entire festival. I've never heard such a crushing wall of sound in a live context before, just fucking mindblowing. Jensen is probably the hardest-hitting drummer out there.

  • dude all your bands you put up on here are so ducking dope!

  • @quinnofearth thank you. really appreciate it!

  • @punkisALIVEagain

    fucking*

    not ducking lol

    and np

  • Once again, this is a sweet post!

  • FUCK YOU ALL!

    POWER-VIOLENCE FOR LIFE!

  • IN POWERVIOLENCE WE GRIND

    IN CRUST WE TRUST!!!!!!

  • I saw these guys last night, they're fucking awesome. Do they have a myspace or anything?

  • who cares what is what and what sounds like what iron lung is good without trying to sound like anything, btw ska is for fat girls

  • @fuckyacum

there's some really good ska bands out there, you know.

  • @punkisALIVEagain

ugh... no... ska is for fat girls, fat girl.

  • @fuckyacum God bless your words hahaha. Seriously i hate ska!

  • @fuckyacum i love you....

  • @fuckyacum im a fat girl that likes ska (:

  • Powerviolence, Ska, Grindcore, Crust ALL have similar sounding bands, but thats only because they all follow the same musical path, just because a few bands sound simliar doesnt mean the genre sucks.

All those are my favorite genres, its just good music, and if a band is truely great, they'll put their own special signature sound on the genre.

  • Real Question is... How are you not addicted to powerviolence?

  • Powerviolence & Grindcore are two of the most addicting music genres!

  • the first time u hear ska, there is an addiction. then you realize all ska band's guitars sound the same.

  • Comment removed

  • can't you just shut the fuck up? nobody cares what you think about this genre.

  • Iron Lung is awesome.

    Powerviolence is great

  • Powerviolence is great but Ska is awesome too. You can't really compare to completely different genres. I like both. You like both. No problem.

  • Your addicted to powerviolence

  • i suppose so... lol.

  • Well I'm addicted to good music. Nah, but Powerviolence IS pretty addicting. This band's great.

  • powerviolence and ska can both have bands that sound the same. But that's what makes the GOOD powerviolence and ska bands GOOD is if they can have their own distinctive style. I just listen to what i like. and I like most kinds of music. including Powerviolence and Ska.
