We all know this game is mainly a singleplayer game and ever should be. But still they could finish the singeplayer first and then do something for co-op. Just co-op, 2-4 players, no master server, just connecting with the IP. Or they could also atleast do something that we are able to create a co-op mod.

@BroncosOwnCowboys Not on xbox you can't, this is because on xbox you can't have mods, and a multiplayer mod (which i don't think has been released yet) is what allows pc players to be able to play online. RPGs are just better on pc anyway, if your pc can take it that is.

the engine of original game doesn't have multiplay (lan or online) option..if you want to play this game multiplay you need to create new engine

foe example : hellgame london have (had) only online multiplay but no LAN option

@SCREAMORANGEJUICE It is fake. Oblivion lacks net code implementation, which is needed for online play to work. People managed to do this with Halo 1, but only because Halo 1 had net code implemented for LAN play. They took that and managed to manipulate it for online play.

Without a net code, you can not do anything. You can't move, you can't attack, you can't converse with NPC's -- nothing -- it's the net code that allows you to do this.

Co-op play might be fun, but the sandbox environment that really makes this game awesome in my opinion would be totally scrapped by online play. The only way a sandbox game could EVER work online is either if it was SO huge that players almost never met one another, or if the entire world, the events that took place in it, and all that EXISTED inside of it was COMPLETELY determined by the players...Hmmm, say...*rushes off, begins typing elsewhere*

Its only for PC and it does not exist. Hate to break it to you, the only fan made online multiplayer server/client system is San Andreas Multiplayer.

I doubt there would be a OblivionOnline mod at anytime during the next 100 years or so.

Actually no. It doesn't really work. It works to the extent of showing you the other person is now a floating statue of an NPC. This seems to be quite evident from the gameplay videos I've seen with the multiplayer mods, they all seem to be hiding the fact that their mod can't do shit and you can't even fight a single monster together.

It's like they're trying to sell you the mod, which is what the publishing companies are supposed to do, not the fans trying to improve the game.

Sure. Yes, although in a very limited way meaning it only transmits your movements to the other play and not your animation, world state or any other info that would normally be replicated by a host. actually, the OblivionOnline 0.45 has the Pvp fight Beta ( so you can fight eachother, or atleast test/try it.. ) they are currently working on 5.0 but the person that is working with the mod has hardly any free time to work on the mod.. as you said it's still fun to follow your friend ;)

The oblivion online mod allows you to see another player, although when they equip something or use something, it appears on them instead of doing an animation as it normally would. When they move they scoot along the ground like you see there. They cannot hit you as they cannot attack you.
