To hear his different voices. listen to both voices he does on "It's A Shame", "Don't Wanna Play Pajama Games", "No Matter Where", "Come Get This Thang", his version of"Rubberband Man" (from the Love Train TV special). not to mention "It's So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday" (he did the original). And for an extra treat: "I Wanna Be By Your Side" with Syreeta. The man is incredible!
He was/is definitely underrated. He was once called the man with 6 voices and that's been his "problem". He is so good at sounding like all the Motown Superstars which he worked with that his identity, career wise became a blur. Those of us who know the old school appreciate his work. He did a tribute to Philly International singers last year and he has some new stuff out I found on his website. He is still performing a Motown review these days.
