yeah i was using the super rod and all i was getting was wailmer, but then i put a water pokemon as a lead off (sharpedo) and everytime i've fished after that i've hooked a staryu, so try it

@RyanB3724 idk if im right, but when i tried it, it didnt work, still got wailmer alot. but after many times of hooking wailmers, i finally hooked a staryu (with blaziken in front). so maybe you just need patience to catch it, or maybe i just got lucky. btw it took me 3 ultra balls to catch it. :P

Hi guys, I made it! I used super rod. Before that I always got Wailmer. Then I try changing my lead pokemon to a water type and then I hooked a Staryu! Hope this helps :)
