  • I was in Ghana in 2007 and nothing has changed in their way of fishing :) The same boats, the same nets, the same sound. It's amazing to watch them work like that.

  • I think it's so interesting that no matter what part of the world you're living in. If you get a group of blacks together they will make the same sound. A unique sound of hormony. Only difference are maybe instruments....but the voices are the same. Very beautiful.

  • The vocal harmonies beginning at 0:45 are freaking amazing! These people are great; I love reading about how many of the tribes within the Wolof had different sets of music for each different task in their daily lives.

  • ay anita you fuckin queer get off their dick

  • At 0:58 they were rowing hard body lol

  • Yes this is what you are, singing in prison.

  • That is some hard core rowing at 0:58

  • What a wonderful video. I love how music and cohesive rhythm is incorporated into these peoples' work lives. It seems there is no separation between work and play, life is just a joy. Everybody looks happy and very beautiful too! (Those boat men have nice muscles! ;)

  • This is what we are..We are workers. We didn't get to be where we are without a strong sense of work, and togetherness. We work together,to make something work.
