  • tommy bowe owned this guy last week.

  • Thats coz Bowe is World Class. Monye can be he just isnt there yet. Hes a great athlete but if him and Bowe were playing each other you could tell which won grew up with gaelic football.

  • Just goes to show how political correctness hasn't completely crippled society YET.

Can you imagine in South Africa if Habana, Pietersen and Kirchner were called the black three? lol there'd be utter WAR

  • hes turning into an important player

  • lol the black three!

  • ask moyne who is his most difficult opponent and he will tell you. James Simpson Daniel is a shoe in!

  • Why does everyone overlook matthew tait? he's the best centre England have!

  • he talks very well

  • England Back Three-

    11.Ugo Monye

    15.Delon Armitage

    14.Tom Varndell

    Matt Banahan+Mark Cueto Subs

    Thoughts?

  • tom varndell noooooooooooo

  • well when he gets his defence better

  • i wudnt say Banahan , delon armitage deffo , mayb a it of strettle or Tait on the wing? Ugo s class.

  • banahan at 14

  • i agree now varndell needs to learn to tackle

  • Varndell?! I hope you are joking

  • banahan instead, ive seen more of varndell and hes a defensive liability

  • The simple truth is that it HAS to be 11. Monye 15. Armitage 14. Cueto

As an attacking trio there is not a better and more consistant 3 as those three, and defensively Quates is as tough as they come.

As for centres, I would pick Flutey and Tait over May, Noon and Hipkiss any day of the week

  • i agree i think that is our best back three althoug i would like to see david strettle again when he is not injured because in the 2007 six nations he was imense but i think that they should pick flutey, tait, and hipkiss as our main centres

  • Funny, because you didn't have to say "attacking" trio.

All three of your listed back 3 are great defensive players too.

i think if fitness wasn't an issue, i'd see if flutey can play outside centre, move wilkinson to inside centre and give ciprianni a shot at 10.

But thats a bit of wishful thinking really =p

Banahan is quality though, nice to have a choice between some quality players

& as for varndell, he can't even carry a ball, pass a ball or make a tackle, so no thanks.

  • Cipriani needs to sort himself out, complete tosser in my opinion, and the last time i saw him he was so bad

  • Lol he's not exactly a top bloke, i'll give you that =p

    But he's clearly got potential.

It was Just an Idea anyway.

And as much as i want to see wilkinson play for England at number 10 again, he's not gonna be around for ever and our other 10s seem to be less rounded players. but i do agree, he does need to sort himself out.

  • Have a look out for Stephen Myler at Northampton, he has some serious potential, great distribution and a solid kick

If we're talking about future England 10s he has to be mentioned :)

  • now this guy... has some gas

  • I'm glad that they dont take too much offence from the nickname, you know some people would make such fuss out of it.

He wasn't really shining when he replaced the injured Sackey, but that was just because Cueto and Armitage worked so hard and Ugo didn't do himself any shame By that measure, Monye will always be on the radar.

  • I SAW HIM TODAYYYYYY

  • Ugo Monye: a gent, and a wordsmith

  • Ugo Ugo Ugo Ugo Ugo

  • Black 3 lmao

  • good luck england for next 6 nations tournament!

i hope jonny wilkinson will be back !

and "allez les bleus" also ! i hope that we will win in twickenham !! lol
