I have listened to Enya for decades and absolutely LOVE her art! And I know seeing her live is a rare event indeed (prolly will never happen for me). In any event, I have to say----In the vids I have seen here on youtube, the string players look like guys in drag. NE1 else see that? I mean, I could be wrong. I feel certain Enya is singing live. The little 'flub' at the beginning is noticable. Also, Enya is likely singing to her own back up vocals, as she dubs her voice multiple times. No matter what, she is radiant, beautiful and sings incredibly perfect, unlike anyone I have heard. What a great and talented lady.

allensfan is right. I didn't originally think she was singing live here (that's not a shot at her -- she makes beautiful music regardless), but at 0:09 you can hear her being too loud for a second, and you can hear some bits around 1:00 in where there's kind of a 'smile' in her voice. At 2:15 she's too loud for a second again.

I mean, I *guess* it's possible she could just be adding these things to deflect accusations, but that would be about as hard as just singing the damn song, really.

as much as i love enya and this song, it's obvious she's singing (barely audibly) against the recorded version of the song. would be nice to hear an acoustic version with just her, the piano, and the cellos.
