it has nth to do w the age. it's just tat the younger the person is, the range of frequency they can receive is wider. for normal human they can receive frequency from 20 to 20k Hz, but as the person gets older, their hearing system deteriorate, therefore, they may or may not be able to hear it

Again...there is no magical birthday you hit where your ears just stop working as well. It depends entirely on how damaged your ears are- there are plenty of teens who can't hear higher frequencies because they fucked up their ears. I'm 27, and I hear every single one of these 'secret kid frequencies'. Only a child would think that anyone more than a year or two older than them is now 'old' and incapable of hearing like they used to. It's all a desire to feel better than anyone older than you.

EPIC FAIL. 27 and hear it quite clearly. Kids, don't buy into this crap. You're only fooling yourself. There is no magical sound that NO adults can hear. Everyone has a different *exact* range of sounds that they can hear, be they kids or adults. SOME adults lose hearing acuity over time, but some of those adults had much better hearing than others to begin with, so their hearing is STILL better than most. And if your parents are under 50, chances are, they'll hear it.

You CAN lose some of your hearing by the time you are 18, in fact, if you listen to extremely loud music a lot (or just have bad genes)- that early on, it has absolutely nothing to do with age (including your 20's- some people are still growing and filling out into their early or even mid 20's- I'm just now finally getting some peach fuzz on my face at 27 and I stopped filling out maybe 2 years ago).
