I'm the person who posted this. i'm also the guy in the hat who's playing guitar (and loses his pick, lol). i haven't looked here for a while. what's with all the son o' sam sheit? not my memories, though i remember wandering around in the woods back there with friends, and the "Eagle's Nest." I lived in South Yonkers, and would travel regularly to Untermeyer by (someone else's ) car, or bus, or even on foot. nice place back in the day.
the jewish lawyer Samuel Untermeyer was the main organizer behind the "Hate Germany" boycotts of 1933 that followed the free election of Hitler. Untermeyer also secretly organized the "Satanist Movement" inside the USA during the 1920s in the hope that it would hasten Communism. The "Son of Sam" cult of the 1970s led by murderer David Berkowitz performed Satanic rituals inside Untermeyer Park located in Yonkers, NY. The jewish-owned media outlets covered up why the cult was named "Son of Sam".
@ALBERTromano1965 do u think the library would have it ? i have seen many documentaries, and done research..but its always the same story..which rd did he live on ? that is insane that u were in his house, what were the living conditions like ? was there writing satanic writing on the walls and stuff ?? and i cant believe you actually saw the letters !!! did they look crazy like they did in the movie ? summer of sam,man we should get together and take a trip to the park..sine we share the interest
@ALBERTromano1965 yea that is what i thought..but i guess i bought into the mistique..because of all the satanic graffiti..about the sacrificing though..i knew something was going on..but i didnt put 2 and 2 together until years later..and i didnt think that stuff was going on still..im talking only like 8 years back. It's so cool to share with someone else..im fascinated by that place..always have been..cant wait to go back ! so those two guys you name are the accomplices ??
@Madhatter757 in the seventies it was like this every day even weekdays when everyone used to cut school and hang out there! Typical day was, cop some weed at Gorton, walk to the end to get some beer, and on to untermeyer's for another great day!
I remember cutting high school, meeting up with friends at the park and not leaving until the last bus back down to south Yonkers... that was around 76-79... very fond memories, and some very lost ones...lol
We used to explore the outer parts of the park. We found several hidden rooms underground, some were flooded but a couple had satanic writing on the walls and blood on the floor. We lived through the ninja days when people dressed up as ninjas would attack people in the park. Also I remember some kids pouring gas on the 1001 stairs while kids where partying at the bottom..When they lit it on fire the kids thought the devil worshipers were attacking!!
I understand, but it didn't seem to be a negative comment. It seemed to be that he was removing negative energy from his midst, trying to clear the air.
Do you have to be a satanist to hang out there? Anyway, we don't know about Steven. I can tell you this, I saw him walk on stage one time and there was an enormous dark entity standing next to him. I did a double take. And yes, I can see spirits and entities.
This video is so great. I hung out there too in the 70's. I logged hundreds of hours there if not thousands. Hard to rememeber exactly, is was the 70's after all...Do you have anymore footage? And who are the people in the video? Did you live in Yonkers?
How wild!!!! I used to hang out in Untermeyer in the 70s!!! I would walk or hitch there from Hastings with my friend Vicki! From a 15 - 16 year old's perspective, it was the coolest place in the world. Cough, cough, hanging out at the Eagle's Nest watching the sunset. Have a hit.
@worldmoves lol ...tell me about it..the eagles nest was my smoke spot too !!!..i liked the spot right below the eagles nest..where they had the rock bench..ahh those were the days..i wanna go back so badd !
Does anyone have instructions on how to get to any of the underground rooms? devil cave? etc? i was there recently and didnt find them. thanx

its so weird to see the park filled with so many people, the only time its like that these days now is when theirs a festival or a concert there.

His dead ex-wife Cyrinda Fox said he used to perform his own blend of rituals when she was with him. "His own little thing," she called it.

................Unterneyer Park does not look like this now.

Did you see Son of Sam? Great 8mm footage! Did you shoot it yourself?
I lived in Yonkers in those days, but I was 11 years old in '76, so Untermeyer was off limits to me.
Around 1980-81, my friends and I used to venture into the park to, uhmmmm, cough, cough, cough.....at the Eagle's Nest.
Funny thing is I just visited Untermeyer again recently, took some photos.....
....they'll be up on my flickr within a few days from now. Do a member search on flickr for TommyBass.
