It can't be all three ways...

I was there. Tailhook was about hormones. That is one thing the Academies could not eliminate. They DID put saltpeter in the food, but sometimes the effects wore off.

Indeed, Obama makes no bones about his plans to go on a tax rampage. Not only would he increase the capital-gains tax rate from 15 percent to as much as 28 percent, he wants to allow the 2001 and 2003 Bush tax cuts to expire in 2010, which effectively raises taxes on Americans by tens of billions of dollars.
He also wants to do away with the $102,000 FICA payroll tax cap, which means anyone making over $102,000 would pay an additional 7 percent in taxes on earned income.

Jim Lehrer made this pretty clear when he tried to get you two to converse with each other multiple times, instead of through him. And yes, that includes looking at Obama. Man up McCain!

Regardless of what "explanation" McCain comes up with, when you place yourself in a position where mannerisms and DIPLOMACY can win or lose an ally, a war, more often thatn not it's your body language, and not always your words that can make a difference. And THAT is the difference between "leadership" quality and mediocrity.
Just explaning to other cultures that McCain's mannerisms are "just the way it is" will not always be acceptable. How you treat people makes a big difference!

The Honor Code is completely separate from the academics. He didn't take the curriculum very seriously I agree. He was cocky and a troublemaker. With a father and a grandfather who were back to back Admirals, I can understand it, but I don't condone it.
I can also understand the "No eye contact". When you have little or no respect for someone, you usually avoid very much eye contact.
