Alluna because of you I can never forget what I learned. This video was one of the best, and I loved how you killed all the oranges. Everytime I eat one I will think of you killing it...lol, and then I will remember Daidaiiro! Thank you so much!
OHMYGOD!! YOU'RE MURDERING MY FAVORITE FRUIT TO TEACH ME HOW TO SAY MY FAVORITE IN JAPANESE!!!!! ....and i'm totally okay with that! Arigato, alluna!! ^-^
This video is awesome. I found your Yellow/Kiiro first, then Red/Akai. This one is superbly the best. Funny, and it'll definately stick in my mind. Thanks! (poor oranges!)
I didn't realized that what you were talking about ( I mean the relationship between "daidaiiro" and abusing oranges) until I saw the scene that oranges was smashed into the wall saying "dai, dai"!
hahaha great work! :)
kono video ha omoshiroi and anata wa kawaii desune. ;)
I just a little confused because at first I know "Mikan" is the japanese word for orange, and search the net and I saw that "daidai" means bitter orange.
it's the word for the color orange, not the fruit! The actual oranges are a visual stimulant to help you remember the word for the color. sorry about any confusion!
Daidai is indeed a word meaning 'bitter orange', a variety of orange, and daidai-iro is derived from it. I don't think I've ever actually seen daidai-iro used "in the wild" though - 99% of the time people will say 'orenji-iro' from the English 'orange'.
I think the wolf goes with the Riddick action figure. It's my sister's, so I'm not sure. It's kind of hard to get it to stand on it's own, though. Could have been better made.
wow that was like Punk Sesame St. I'll never forget my new found associations with oranges and death. It's like The Godfather but in Japanese. Thanks you rock!!!
I counted 11 oranges

Isn't orange Orenji?
TheNekoMimiNinja 2 years ago 2
i think orenji is a japanized english word... like hamburger - hambaagaa
krystalfu 2 years ago 2
Yes, it is an English word, but it's really common way of saying orange (probably the most common)
MattDoku 2 years ago
@TheNekoMimiNinja I think "Orenji" is written in Romanji (Japanese in English characters).
