  • will Daidaiiiroi be the adj?

  • No, because this is not an i-adj ^^

  • Isn't orange Orenji?

  • i think orenji is a japanized english word... like hamburger - hambaagaa

  • Yes, it is an English word, but it's really common way of saying orange (probably the most common)

  • @TheNekoMimiNinja I think "Orenji" is written in Romanji (Japanese in English characters).

  • love the videos, so creative and fun to watch. see ya space cowboy lol

  • How many ways can u kill an orange?

    this is hadorious!

    (this is halarious!)

  • its kinda like how sesame street teaches things to you when you are young, good idea

  • its funny that i thought it was funny that the poor oranges had to DIE DIE.!!! TO MAKE ME LEARN THAT COLOUR IN JAPANESE ..GREAT LOVED IT !!

  • I'll forever correspond orange with Riddick, now. And Vin Diesel with oranges.

  • DIE DIE! =) Great way to remember daidaiiro!

  • Sugoi desu yo!

  • Cool video, Hellsing rules.

  • que gasto de naranjas por dios...

  • great vid. although i am going to have to call the authorities on the wanton diregard for oranges... you should be ashamed. SHAME!

  • I know, I know. I'm in rehab now, but I've started up with lemons. Maybe one day I'll learn.

  • wow. kono "video" ga daisuki desu.

  • Alluna because of you I can never forget what I learned. This video was one of the best, and I loved how you killed all the oranges. Everytime I eat one I will think of you killing it...lol, and then I will remember Daidaiiro! Thank you so much!

  • poor oranges :(

  • Lol I love this! Oh now I see, Mikan is the fruit and the color is DIEDIE Iro XD

  • hahaha, that's so funny!

I didn't realized that what you were talking about ( I mean the relationship between "daidaiiro" and abusing oranges) until I saw the scene that oranges was smashed into the wall saying "dai, dai"!

    hahaha great work! :)

kono video ha omoshiroi and anata wa kawaii desune. ;)

  • Brilliant!!!

Best language video I have seen on youtube!

  • Wow, that's an awesome comment!! Thanks so much!!

  • so, daidai iro is the word "Orange, or is it just dai dai???

  • I think daidai is the FRUIT, and daidaiiro is the colour.

  • I will never, ever, ever forget daidaiiro now.

    Thanks. :)

  • I love it! I can't wait for next one.

  • arigatou!

  • WoW. you kiLLed it.

    aWesoMe!

  • I just a little confused because at first I know "Mikan" is the japanese word for orange, and search the net and I saw that "daidai" means bitter orange.

  • it's the word for the color orange, not the fruit! The actual oranges are a visual stimulant to help you remember the word for the color. sorry about any confusion!

  • Daidai is indeed a word meaning 'bitter orange', a variety of orange, and daidai-iro is derived from it. I don't think I've ever actually seen daidai-iro used "in the wild" though - 99% of the time people will say 'orenji-iro' from the English 'orange'.

'Mikan' is what in English people call a satsuma.

  • I just confused first because I know "Mikan" is the japanese word for orange, and search the net and I saw that "daidai" means bitter orange.

  • emosewa!!

  • Nice Video.

I think most Japanese people will understand "Orange" if you pronounce it Katakana style.

    More video's please :)

  • that wasawesome xD

  • awesome as always

  • arigatou! Benkyou no Nihongo wa dou desu ka?

  • yes a very violent way of learning

  • Everyone loves a little violence!

  • You make Spike Spiegel proud! See ya space samurai!

  • I like the wolf, (the vid too of course.) : ) What show is the wolf from?

  • I think the wolf goes with the Riddick action figure. It's my sister's, so I'm not sure. It's kind of hard to get it to stand on it's own, though. Could have been better made.

  • awsome!

i dont think I'll ever be able to forget it.

    even if i want to.

    poor oranges. *sniffles*

  • We thought about making orange juice with the remains, but no one would drink it.

  • XD I know I woudn't drink it.

  • Ouch!!!!!!

  • wow that was like Punk Sesame St. I'll never forget my new found associations with oranges and death. It's like The Godfather but in Japanese. Thanks you rock!!!
