God is teaching me to let go as well. I really felt like I was hearing my OWN story when listening to Alyssa Barlow. Sure, I have the introverted, VERY personal nature like Becca. But I have that obsession with being the best of myself all the time as well. I know my strengths with writing. But I also must trust God over these fears and doubts. And I try to remember that it is God Who gave me these gifts. Therefore I have nothing to boast in. These videos really me help to recenter on God. :)

These girls are just so inspiring. I thank God for their ministry. God knows that when I was 14 years old (I am now 20), I would listen to them sooo much and it helped me through so many challenges that most young teenagers face today. It's all about JESUS!

@IMAPodcaster4Jesus I've met them twice and they are truly as kind and gracious as they seem to be. I broke down in tears last time I met them and alyssa hugged me. It meant alot. Its really not hard to meet them they do meet and greets/signings at almost every show. Just go to their concert and most likely you will have the oppurtunity to meet them.

what Lauren is saying is exactly the reason why i love this band: they're an amazing rock band but they do not focus on being a BAND, they're focus on their MINISTRY, and sometimes christian bands miss the whole point of it. I love Skillet, but feel like they constantly forget that their purpose is not to sound commercial so their songs make it to the mainstream, but to change lives and spread the Word through their songs. A BAND and a MINISTRY are two different things. Good 2 know BG are aware!

Wow! I know exactly how Alyssa feels about the Bass! I play the bass in an all girl Christian Rock band and I honestly always feel so stupid when I get up on stage and play the bass because I don't feel confident enough in my playing. I know that I need to learn more and practice more but yeah... You're not alone, Alysaa!
