i saw chuck jackson do this in both 1963 and1964 at a murray the k xmas show at the brooklyn fox theater in nyc. it seems impossible to me that he sounds just as damned GREAT now as he did close to 50 years ago...what a gift! if only newer music sounded this good today....

Used to see him at the Brooklyn Fox shows. The girls used to go crazy for him. It is amazing to hear his voice has gotten so much better so long after this was a hit.

My parents, also in their early to mid 70s, were young adults back when "real music" came from artists such as Mr. Jackson. I learned a lot by listening to their old records when I was a kid :)
