Never rode in the rain? I live in South Florida. In the summer we used to get caught in thunderstorms almost every afternoon. And i used to ride everyday. Didn't own a car back then. Never needed a windshield. Guess my balls are big enough to shield me from the rain.
Yeah... you obviously don't get it. Guess you don't live anywhere where the june bugs feel like a 90/mph major league fast ball. They do come in handy. Don't knock it. I have a quick release one. Bikes do look better without them, but it's form vs function.... Especially if you do much highway riding at night.
I think that looks freaking sweet! Great job. I am planning to do the same to mine someday soon. Any tips or suggestions you might have to offer? I like the vertical license plate too, where did you find that?
It is a standard soft tail 5 hole derby cover. It takes two gaskets to make it fit. Your Harley shop will know exactly which gaskets. They are the solid paper gaskets with the rubber insert. Two of them together seal the derby cover perfectly.
is that a brand new fender and if it is how much did you pay for it? i have a pacific blue rocker c and i would like to do that to mine and replace my turn sgnals with those from the nightster.
That is the original fender. It had four holes it to hold the plate holder. I welded up the four holes and smoothed out the fender and then had Roe's Custom paint here in Phoenix match the paint and shoot it for me.

I never had and never will have a windshield on my bike. Don't get it. Like seeing convertible cars with their windows up.

Nice job on the rear fender. Dont care for the windscreen though. I realize you probably put in on for the function not for the looks.

Nice looking Hog. Is that a Kuryakyn verticle plate? How did you mount it if you don't mind me asking? Great job.
