@TRON91 Had the Bears acquired a veteran QB as a back-up who was capable of leading the team, that could have won them another Super Bowl as well. SF acquired Steve Young to back up Joe Montana, Washington had Doug Williams to back up Jay Schroeder, and the Giants had Dave Hostetler to back up Phil Simms. The difference between those 3 NFC powers and the Bears during the same era? Each of those teams won multiple Super Bowls and the back-up QB's played significant roles in those titles.
