dont feed the trolls, they will just keep going....let them be..yes, they are annoying but it happens...part of the internet, and with out trolls...the internet would be boring...so in turn leave them alone, but also thank them for keeping things alive! and good drumming for a 1st month of playing time! I sucked sooooo bad at that level! i couldnt even keep ahold on the darn stick!
You should get Carmine Appice's Rock Drumming book and practice it. You can even find it for free d/l on the net. It's fairly basic but cool with some syncopation exercises. It's great for beginners; not too complicated. I started with it and it REALLY helped me.
how did you get so many inputs into a td12 brain? i only count 2 aux inputs on the module but you've got 2 extra cymbals and an extra floor tom too! thanks
how do you add that HI-Hat? I mean... You can only add three pads to the kit because there are no more ports, and you have four extra pads (crash, crash, floor tom, hi-hat)... so... how?
No, he's basically done. The ride is a 3-zone ride, which uses 2 inputs on the module (one for bow/edge, the other for the bell). The hi hat also uses 2 inputs, one for the cymbals, the other for the hi hat controller.
You can add extra stuff using special cables to split off the tom rim triggers (which are otherwise kinda useless, unless you need tom clicking sounds) to seperate single zone pads. Another possibility is to connect a TMI box (or another module) to the TD-12 via MIDI.
I mean there is always going to be a diffrence In the studio we have the higher end model v drums and Im a piano and guitar player and I love playing them, the response from the pads is great, there is no latency issues, roland is the best, I highly recomend them. drum heads arent as taught as an acoustic kit but I personaly like the feel of the roland kit better...
Sweet kit man your really good for only playing for a month, ive been playing for a couple of years on acoustic and just bought the Roland Td-12. boy is that a great kit. Enjoy and happy drumming. Keep up the great work! CHEERS!!!!!

@michaelgreeen I'm pretty sure, at least with the KX, the extra inputs are Stereo. If he uses mono-triggers, then he has up to four available inputs.

get the rhythm first, then the drums. If I were Roland, I would pay this guy from using my product on you tube.

Doin pretty good for the first month!
If i could give you some advice i would just say to put more feeling and speed and strength into it. But never sacrifice accuracy!
good job!
