If you want a little more challenge. You could just turn off the radio and played the whole game without it. Its a mere option. It makes the game more frighting tactic and to find out your running around the corner and surprise you with a monster. Instead of having a static warning thats telling you that theres something near by.

Actually, yes, you fucking neanderthal. Look up "Silent Hill 2 - Making of 2/4" from 6:51-8:02 here on YouTube and it's mentioned in unambiguous plain English. You could probably deny this if it were not so clearly the case, but it is. The casting for the original Silent Hill 2 was excellent.

Shut up about the new voices. For one thing, the old ones were pretty bad to begin with. Silent Hill is a good game, doesn't make it a perfect game. Like...Angela. Angela is 17 years old, and she sounds 40 in the originals.

But if you all REALLY think that the old voices were the best thing in the world, you're in luck. Konami has ALREADY announced that they will include the old voices as an option as well. (only for SH2 though, some sort of limitations.)

The new voice actors over do their acting, while not bad it is most certainly not as good as the originals... Why fix something that isn't broken?
