Majora's Mask Glitch Day 4 + Menu Fix

I did it on the gamecube version and the happy mask salesman is still there and he tells you you have "! hours" left to get his mask

Ok here's a bad glitch i unfortunatly found out today (BE SURE TO SAVE BEFORE THIS!!!) Ok so go to the Swamp area as normal Link. Swim to a lillypad and get on it. And for a split second you'll be standing on it before it sinks and in that split second put on your Deku Scrub mask and hop ontop of the water untill you fall in the water. You will spawn back where the lillypad should be. But! since it's under water, so will you. so you'll keep dying as a Deku Scrub until the 3 days are over.

@beyboh day 4 lasts for the normal amount of time. It then goes on to day 5, day 6, etc... They all say "dawn of a new day". When night comes, instead of saying "Night of the Xth day", it brings up a blank text box. doesn't show the time, but I guess it somehow keeps track of it internally. Talking to people who say different things depending on the time/day will freeze the game.

hey i couldnt figur out how to fix my menu cause the scarecrow was gone cause i used him to skip time so i went to youtube i still coudnt figur it out i went back to the game and the menu stared working randomly i guess if u wait it comes back :D

You mean not to have items? Well, yeah, I guess he is using an emulator for that, but you could do that with Gameshark and stuff, too. Really, though, he could have done it without anything but the Bomber's Notebook, since you just have to get to the Observatory.

Or maybe you mean to make the menu not come up? In that case, no, it's definitely an actual problem that he found a fix to by using the scarecrow.

yes but to do this you needs cheats and in the normal game dosn't have cheats but glitches and this is not a glitch because i have try it

You don't need to use cheats.

I failed to mention one little detail though which can cause the bug not to work.

If you exit the telescope too soon you must quickly look back in and exit as fast as possible.

This glitch works on Game cube, you just need really good timing.

Nope. Not at all.

But if you...

Play some mini-games in town.

Talk to the Maskman. The game freezes because it gets confused on what day it is, so it overloads and crashes.

The game will freeze.

Does that help?

You don't really know the difference between a freeze and a crash, mate. Nothing 'overloads'. The game freezes when you speak to the Deku scrub game hosts because there's no dialogue programmed for the fourth day, but it does not freeze when you speak to the mask salesman.
