I for one want to see a Thundercats movie, animated or live action, I don't care. Like Transformers, Thundercats were a much beloved cartoon icon for an entire generation and they deserve to be recognized as such.
I can't believe how excited I was to read that my favorite childhood cartoon was going to be a movie....I was so excited, I started texting all my friends. I felt so alive when I saw the movie trailer....THEN....I read WB canceled it....WTF....How can a company such as WB get a persons hopes up like that, make you feel like a little kid again and then steal it away...WB you suck...Make the damn movie for all us 30+ year olds who want to be a kid again.
WB make the right choice produce this movie. I am 42 male I loved that show growing up. This would be one of the best remakes ever. CGI of Live action look at transformers which is a perfect example. James

I sincerely hope the Thundercats movie still get the greenlight and that it will be in cinemas soon!!

Maybe someone whose done like 7-8 features, been a Thundercats fan since they were little, has a growing reputation for making even a shoestring budget shine? Never done an action movie, but have gotten good about blending live action and greenscreen on a NADA budget , so rather than scrap it....?

bristyluv i agree, it should have been CGI. They screwed the storyline for Transformers, and GI Joe. Brian Singer should die, and someone who is not gonna screw us, and redue the comic book movies. X-Men 1 should have been about the new X-Men team recruiting Wolverine, and others, at the end of the movie should have Logan at the Door, perfect set up for the next movie. Having Closus and Shadowcat, Nightcrawler as the new members, and it also follows the comic story.
i haven't read an of the TF, GI joe, or the GI Joe crossover with TF, but i have read the first 5 or so comics of x-men(i have them all on a collectors cd. wish marvel made more comic boos on cd for all of marvel, limited run.) so yeah i have read some the x-men comics. im guessing ur talking about the original 5. Marvel Girl, Cyclops, Beast, Iceman, and Angle.

Frankly, most of the new stuff they've been throwing out to bring back our childhood has sucked. The new(er) He-Man cartoon, the new TMNT cartoons ( movie was alright ), and the atrocity of the Transformers movies ( could anyone tell the 'bots apart mid fight-scene?! ). Maybe since he's a game artist, it might be alright, but everyone knows the story will more than likely wind up trashed to just let them do whatever the hell they want (Dragonball anyone?!) and destroy another beloved franchise.

mmmm....I don't really know about that. Ive seen some fake & cheesy live-trailers here on youtube & they just show that it couldn't be done. I mean, just look @ G.I.Joe & how that turned out! It didn't really do all that good at all in the box office. I think they'd only pull off all of the elements well enough in a Thundercats movie if they did it in CGI.
it would be good for games artists to go into film making, cgi is so good now and most new game art is fantastic. i'd love to see more films made from game stories, but they would have to look great and have big budgets to make sure they look great.
No dude- Vin Diesel is the only one who could do it- he has the face & body type for it more than Ving- yet while he isn't black, he still has that deep voice that could be similar to it

It is English. Believe it or not. I could be wrong but I think it could be a Birmingham accent. I have been out of the UK for a good 15 years and its become hard to tell the accents apart. Because it does vary from North to south a lot! Think the difference between a New York accent and a deep south accent.

I've been patiently waiting for a cinematic version of 'ThunderCats' since the mid-80's... and now that James Cameron has raised the bar with 'AVATAR' we now know a movie like 'ThunderCats' can finally be made featuring the indigenous feline species from the doomed planet of Thundera exiled to their new home planet on Third Earth. Somebody PLEASE give me "sight beyond sight" and tell me this film/trilogy will finally come to fruition ! "Schnarf Schnarf !"

oh thank god, cause that looked a lil bit cheesy. I hope the real movie looks better, but it'll be tough. That movie had some off the wall graphics and artists. That's going to be tough to replicate in real life.

bristyluv i agree, it should have been CGI. They screwed the storyline for Transformers, and GI Joe. Brian Singer should die, and someone who is not gonna screw us, and redue the comic book movies. X-Men 1 should have been about the new X-Men team recruiting Wolverine, and others, at the end of the movie should have Logan at the Door, perfect set up for the next movie. Having Closus and Shadowcat, Nightcrawler as the new members, and it also follows the comic story.

i haven't read an of the TF, GI joe, or the GI Joe crossover with TF, but i have read the first 5 or so comics of x-men(i have them all on a collectors cd. wish marvel made more comic boos on cd for all of marvel, limited run.) so yeah i have read some the x-men comics. im guessing ur talking about the original 5. Marvel Girl, Cyclops, Beast, Iceman, and Angle.

Frankly, most of the new stuff they've been throwing out to bring back our childhood has sucked. The new(er) He-Man cartoon, the new TMNT cartoons ( movie was alright ), and the atrocity of the Transformers movies ( could anyone tell the 'bots apart mid fight-scene?! ). Maybe since he's a game artist, it might be alright, but everyone knows the story will more than likely wind up trashed to just let them do whatever the hell they want (Dragonball anyone?!) and destroy another beloved franchise.

mmmm....I don't really know about that. Ive seen some fake & cheesy live-trailers here on youtube & they just show that it couldn't be done. I mean, just look @ G.I.Joe & how that turned out! It didn't really do all that good at all in the box office. I think they'd only pull off all of the elements well enough in a Thundercats movie if they did it in CGI.

it would be good for games artists to go into film making, cgi is so good now and most new game art is fantastic. i'd love to see more films made from game stories, but they would have to look great and have big budgets to make sure they look great.

It is English. Believe it or not. I could be wrong but I think it could be a Birmingham accent. I have been out of the UK for a good 15 years and its become hard to tell the accents apart. Because it does vary from North to south a lot! Think the difference between a New York accent and a deep south accent.
