  • Oi! @billywhizz220cdi I'm 45, two late teenage kids and I'm currently bouncin' around the house. Both of them want to disown me - pups! Quality is still quality even when you get to be an old git like me ;)

  • This tune feels like I'm (still) seeing a long dark tunnel with a very bright light at the end so brilliant that it's more brilliant than the sun. Classic material.

  • ANDY C!!!!!!!!!! you wanna see the size of this fuckers house he"s got. i live near him in hornchurch!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • unstoppable still being played now im 2011 i hope people with jet pacs are guna b listing 2 this in like 500 years time

  • dj Scam . fave .

  • If you had to categorize the subgenre of this what would it be? Wikipedia says it's a 'darkcore' prototype', yet the WP def of darkcore implies it should be really dark and even horror-ish, which I don't think this track is...?

  • @lucite11 I think people classify it as darkcore because of the vocal sample which comes from a documentary dealing with near death experience. obviously the subgenre of darkcore did not exist when the tune was made, but when people got around to making more obviously horror themed tracks this was definitely a precursor.

  • Apart from those we can never remember :)

  • sick tune

  • @skoopism Valley of the Shadows From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It has two famous samples, "Felt that I was in this long dark tunnel", sampled from an episode of the BBC documentary series Q.E.D., concerning out-of-body experiences. The phrase "Thirty-one seconds", from the Apollo 11 countdown to the Lunar Module landing on the moon .Most of the samples that were used to make the tune were taken from the free CD that came with the first issues of the magazine Future Music !!!!????

  • Why does most music video comments have to turn into rows about drugs or someone who was born after it came out doesnt know about this tune etc. Just shut the fuck up and listen to the music!! I can safely say I dont need any drugs to enjoy tunes like this, can bounce to this all day if I wanted to. Love the mysteriousness of this track and how it takes you on a journey, truly epic piece of jungle music! Andy C was only 15 when he made this I believe. Oh btw I was born in 1987, flame me!

  • I do believe you can find the bbc clip on youtube where it's got the dickhead kid they interviewed for the long dark tunnel sample. I remember my mate video'ed it and we were all cracking up at the gimpy little dweeb they found for the interview...FFS, they could have at least got someone who didn't look like they pissed their pants on their first E.

  • YOU LOVE DARKNESS SO MUCH YOU DRUG LOVING FOOLS SATAN HAS GOT YOU BLIND TO WHAT IS AROUND THE CORNER HE IS USING YOU ALL LIKE LITTLE PAWNS BECAUSE YOU ALL LOVE THE DARKNESS SO MUCH YOUR WORLD IS ABOUT TO BE PLUNGED INTO IT YOU ARE GONNA GET EXACTLY WHAT YOU LOVE SO MUCH WAKE UP

  • @subwoofer61

    @subwoofer61

i resent being described as a little pawn of satan, though i confess it's probably accurate. have you ever considered referring yourself to a mental health professional? or maybe you're already in contact with one; it would be a serious failure on the part of social services were someone as evidently unhinged as you left to his/her own paranoid devices.

the great irony is that you need drugs too, just not the sort that we take

  • @subwoofer61 WTF are you talking about?

  • Is this not long dark tunnel? whagwanin`, spoke too soon here come the lyric. Apparently it`s long and it is dark!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this track is where drum and bass started. remember it being dropped in blackmarket records in soho and folks being utterly fucking stunned by it. and that was back in 1995. THIS track started drum n bass.

  • @justinflavin This track was realest in 93' why do people keep saying it's 95? And Just for you london by body snatcher started jungle in 92. (Sorry to be so pedantic but it's just annoying when you where there and watched it happen!)

  • your kiddin braken...it got so many hits coz it was a blindin track i still play it today ..'i was in this loong dark tunnel'----lose it to this 1 =D x

  • Best Track ever.

  • Even to this day, this is fucking MASSIVE!!!

  • this dropped at St Pauls Carnival and that street was just a sea of bouncing heads.

  • Absolute classic and every DnB Producer should know this....
