this build up is the reason i fell in love with wrestling as a kid. i remember watching this the day it aired (and a few more times as well, I taped it).Its probably been almost 20 years scince then, and i still remembered what ricky and ric said in their promos word for word. After seeing this, anyone who didn't order the PPV was either broke, dead, or in an area that didn't yet have PPV.

I first saw this when I picked up a tape of WrestleWar and GAB '89 on eBay, and it turned out to be a copy of the PPV versions, not the Turner Home Video cut-down versions; they played this for the home audience during the WrestleWar intermission.
