I was seven when I accidentally found this on BBC3. When I had to go on a school trip that lasted three days the first thing I said when O got home to my Mum wasn't "I missed you" it was "What happened on Due South?"

Ahh, the song and the show takes me back. One of those rare gems from t.v. I've never seen a show handle a character change, blend in and tie up the change, with an excellent ending to the series. It was all done so well.

And though I hated to see it end, I was left very satisfied when it was over. I'm not one to buy DVD's, but I couldn't pass on this series. Not one of the episodes had ever failed to thoroughly entertain. The series character(s) chemistry is the best.

Jay Semko wrote it, its discussed in Southbound I do believe....I dont know who sings it to be honest. Some parts sound like it could be Paul, but a lot of others suggest otherwise.

just read your comment ... this is from season 3 when new ray came in ... of course, this is the entire version, which they never played in its entirety on the show ... except for the last show of season 2, old ray's last show ... still prefer the original version from season 1. wish they'd make more episodes, even though they're all older now ... amazing how many people still love it!

Strip4life... Yes Ray did came back into the show... It seems that he was giving undercover work to catch a murder (I think) and when the nerve gas came into play that is when the Real Ray came back. Fraser saw the Real Ray in a hotel and it was history after that...
