  • looks like a bedding area in that little cave, lion was hanging out in there bedding area maybe waiting to ambush the pigs... pigs chased it off...

  • bet that took your heart rate out of your comfort zone

  • whoa! great footage

  • Wow what a great event to witness. I have two friends that exactly the same thing happened to them while deer hunting. The difference was that it was a single javelina, the lion could not kill the javelina. The lion came back later on with two more lions. the 3 of them killed the javelina. Great video thanks.

  • we used to have a healthy mntn lion population here till realtors started selling mc mansions and putting in roads. then the harvesters came. haven't seen one in years now. same with bears, coyotls, foxes, reptiles, and phibians. people can't seem to just let it be. now we've got every type of hunter: coon dog hunters, cruisers, flippers, spotlighters, trappers, baiters, and pure poachers. they seem to think it's their right to remove our last remaining wildlife.

  • where the cougar come from?? :D

  • @GoldCoast100 Cats are natural born ninjas.

  • I saw this on another site and knew that was AZ. Great vid.

  • great video guys. What unit if ya dont mind. I was born and raised in unit 22 and that terrain looks familiar. anyway great footage.

  • Awesome video! There are very few opportunities to see something like like in the outdoors. Great post.

  • @jago76

Jago, I said harvest instead of killed so tree hugging hippies like you wouldnt get offended. Maybe I should have left it, so it could kill and eat people like you's pet dogs.

  • yet another reason i want to move out west awesome vid!

  • Wow! You have no idea how awesome that is! Most people never see a mountain lion! I am a hardcore hunter, and I have only ever seen 3, and the first one was for about 5 seconds before I harvested it! Awesome footage!

  • @fwlinemen56

Harvested it? Why not just say "kill it"? What a shame that you couldn't enjoy the experience without the need to kill the animal.

  • Great video. What a nice surprise to get the mountain lion! The javalina can be really nasty -especially when they have babies in the herd- but I had no idea they could run off a mtn. lion. Wow.

  • Thanks. I never plan on things like this to happen, but I seem to be in the right place at the right time.

  • excellent foortage!

ireally hope u will have more like this. very good job!

  • that is so cool. I can hear ya panting...and I don't blame you...
