L'Oreal are geniuses. They actually managed to get Hugh Laurie, a nice reminder that with middle-age can come success and maybe greater looks - a complete contradiction to the 'youth-matters-more-than-anyth­ing' attitude they count on to sell their face-creams - to lie about his age!  Everyone knows he's in his 50s, so I guess we're all supposed to think, 'well if even Hugh Laurie's not prepared to come to terms with getting older ... better splash out on some face-cream and lie like hell too'.
