Why can't Capcom just make a fighting game with SEGA Already???

Sonic was a good fighter in SSBB,and let's face it,Capcom hasn't made a decent Megaman Game in a while........just have them fight already!!!

Just think of the rivalries:

Akira vs. Ryu,Jacky vs. Ken,Shadow vs. Zero,Reala vs. Wesker,Bayonetta vs. Dante or Trish,Ryo Hazuki vs. Cody........and EPIC BRAWL!!!

I've been discussing this topic for the longest time.

Sonic, Shadow, Tails & Dr Robotnik are good enough. Anyone else from that world would only be redundant or only good for special attacks. Virtual Fighter was a GREAT choice, but what about Eternal Champions! You listed Joe Musashi, but don't forget the other Shinobi's: Hayate & his dog Yamato, Hotsuma and Kunoichi. Good job on mentioning Alex Kidd, but what about Kid Chameleon? What about the Streets of Rage crew?! The music is annoying btw

good selection! my choices for sega are 3, 4 from virtua fighter, axel, blaze and adam from streets of rage, 2 from fighting vipers, shinobi, sketch turner from comix zone, 2 from eternal champions, sonic, knuckles, ax battler from golden axe, ryo from shenmue to name.

i think we deserve a verses sega fighting game. it is long overdue.

Also include a kind of "Destined Battle" system: Sonic Vs Megaman/ Ryu VS Akira/ Knuckles VS Alex (I would include him on Capcom's side)/ Morrigan VS Rouge/ Chun Li VS Dr. Robotnik and so on...

Hm. Well, this idea seems more plausible to me than Shonen Jump Vs Capcom. I agree that I too would like to see a game like this one day. The only problem that I can see is that I'm not sure if Sega has enough properties to do this kind of thing. However, I would love to see the characters from Virtua Fighter and Streets of Rage face off against the likes of street fighter. That's been a bit of a dream of mine.

I sometimes question her existance in the series at all. First, it's Roll, in her little girl model, then it's Amy and Cream, so there's a pattern here. Personally I don't think your character ideas are lame, I think they would make great fighters since they did a good Job in Sonic Battle, and Amy did great in Sonic the Fighters. I was just saying the other sega characters need some more gametime these days. Since you did say you have moveset ideas for those characters I'd like to hear them, seriously I would like to hear your ideas.

Dude, you should've added Hotsuma. Hotsuma's awesome, especially with that long red scarf of his and his dash. Here is one super I could think of:

Multiple slashes with Akujiki and ends with a strong dashing slice and sliths his sword back into its holder and the foe is down for the count, end of story. Pretty cool, huh? :D

That does sound like one cool super, nice idea. But it's just that I've never heard of Hotsuma honestly. Also another character idea I forgot was Ryo from Shenmue.

Hotsuma is main character of the PS2 version of Shinobi. He was the new leader of the Oboro clan and wields the cursed blade, Akujiki. Whoever wields it is cursed unless killing alot of Hellspawn and absorbs its dark energy while fighting the evil sorceror, Hiroko Ubesuna. I hope that sums it up.

I don't mean to offend, but another good crossover would be Nintendo VS. Capcom, let's face it, alot of Capcom's greatest series were on a Nintendo system, and Nintendo has a huge library of characters as big as Sega and Capcom. And besides, alot of fans want to know who would win in a fight between Chun-Li and Samus Aran.

Honestly I thought of something like that to, but not how you think of it. My idea was to have it as the next super smash bros game: Super Smash Bros. Nintendo vs. Capcom. You'd have you're basic nintendo smash bros characters and capcom characters in it as well with two different modes of play: smash bros with the classic gameplay and versus mode using the Capcom vs gameplay.
