recovery is possible in and out the rooms some have more willingness to change than others i know my experience i am a true recovering addict i have an addictive personality 1 now being you tube the other facebook now i quit drugs (heroin methadone diazepam mirtazipine and drink) the detox was the worst experience of my life i know i will have to attend meetings follow the 12 steps forever other wise i will relapse face jail or even death i dont do god i am not religious i i have a higher power.
NA is bull. I did meth for almost 18 years and quit cold turkey one day. I went to one or two meetings because I was court ordered to and it only made me want to get high even more. Its all in your head.If you want to quit, you will quit.
Is their a direct practical corrolation between the step and recovery?Seem like it is coinsidental rather than purposeful.I don't see any simple(it is not a simple program as claimed, it is a complicated program for simplistic minded people), practical approach to discontinuing using alcohol volunteerly.I keep hearing that it is all about motivation.I say yes motivation is important, but knowing how is also much important & AA.dont provide it.if it really worked more people would stop.
