this video would be cutting edge back in the 90's. the tired concept has been done (much better) a billion times since. remember vids from INXS, Morrisey, etc? which is sad because it's a catchy little pop song but this video makes it forgettable. the live version in the responses above tho is a much better vid.

Personally, I think it was perfect for the song. And since the audience that this band is targeting most likely grew up in the 90s, it was brilliant to bring back that sense of nostalgia. People who liked the way videos were directed fifteen years ago would be less inclined to like the videos that are being directed now. Naturally, they would lean toward the more familiar. So lay off.

I said I admire the song, but it was the quality and lack of creativeness of the vid I was responding to. the band deserves better. and judging from the vids on your page, well, then I get why you think this is "perfect". this is a creative song and it deserves a better vid than it got. just my opinion. you can disagree but it's still not going to change it.
